Vintage Bamboo fly rod end sections. There are 3 of them. All three are complete with circle tip. The line guides, and the metal male joining sleeve.They seem really fragile. They measure 36 1/2, 34 1/2, and 33 inches from tip to joining end. No manufacturers marks or other markings. Eyes seem tight. Good to add to your rod parts to complete them. The case is light weight wood with black velvet covering it. There are 4 grooved slots to place each part of the pole. There is a metal end on one side, but the other is missing. Rough, but working. They are as follows, top down on the pictures: 1) 36 3/4" 37" butt& mid for a 9' rod, cigar grip, metal slide band reel seat, cane good and straight, ferrules tight; 2) 37" butt, broken 29" mid, cigar grip, metal slide band reel seat, ferrule super tight, may not be a match; 3) 34 1/2" butt(butt cap missing) 34 3/4" mid, half Wells grip, agate stripper guide, tight ferrules; and 5) 35 1/8" mid, straight, 25" tip, may go with the#1 rod, 35" tip, unusual tip top and 36 3/4" tip, agate tip top, fishing set.

Antique 9 Ft. BAMBOO FLY FISHING ROD w/2 TIPS SECTIONS & HOLDER - MAKER UNKNOWN
This is an Antique 9 ft. Bamboo Fly Fishing Rod with Two Tip Sections and Carrying Holder. It has No Makers Marks and Most Likely Dates to the 1920's. The Lower Section is Missing the Guide and Several of the Narrow Red Bands. There are a Few Small Pieces of Cord Off of the Lower End and a Small Dent on the Butt Cap. One of the Tip Sections is Bowed Somewhat. See 1st photo. The Holder's Fabric Covering will Need Replacing if Restoration is Desired, the Fabric was Originally Blue. The Holder was No Doubt Originally to the Rod as Purchased from an Estate Together. 10 vintage bamboo rod sections. Includes; 3 butts, Montague Sunbeam( 36 1/2" Shakespeare No. 1357, 34 1/2" and Marshal(Japan) 32" The Marshall rod is decent with tip for the bait caster rod, fly rod sections are missing. This is the only complete rod of the group I think. 5 mid sections from 31 1/2" to 34 1/2" includes 4 ferrules and 1 guide. 2 tip sections, 32 1/4" for the complete Japan bait rod and 36 1/2" for the other tip which has all guides except the tip top. Don't know what the tape is about on the Japan rod's cork. These pieces are for building other rods you will have to supple some of the ferrules, guides and tip tops.
