Here we have a used Echo Classic fly rod. 7'6" 3wt 4-piece. This rod has a smooth moderate action that loads up easy for small stream work. It would also make a fun blue gill rod. I find most short graphite rods too fast and clubby in action. Echo got this one right, it will cast in close with ease and finesse. It can also handle small nymphs and indicator. The rod is in great condition and ready to fish. Translucent green with green wraps trimmed in silver. Small cork grip just right for a 3wt. I'm moving on to other things and my rods have got to go. Sweet. Sweet little rod and reel! The rod, called"The Brook Trout" is a custom 8' 3wt. by Joe Roope of Castaway Fly Shop in N. Idaho. An excellent finesse rod and a real treat with a fish on. The matching reel is a Pflueger 1834 Supreme and comes w/case and loaded with weight forward floating line. Both always cased, well cared for, and in excellent condition. The worst treatment they've seen is an 18" Western Slope Cutthroat or 3, and that's some big-time fun! Bad Achilles tendons are keeping me off the river. My loss is your gain. I'll ship the rod sleeved and cased in a nice metal tube(see pic) and the reel in separate package.
