Fly Rod RX7+ Batson Rainshadow Sage similar
This is a great 9 foot 4 piece 7 weight fly rod that is custom made on a Rainshadow Batson RX7+ Graphite blank. The wraps are very fine with a nice tipping. The rod comes with a beautiful handle and a stunning matching wood reel seat. A folding hook keeper is present on the rod. The sale includes a rod bag. This rod had little use and I am the original owner. I had several seven weight rods so I hope you enjoy it. The rod is rated as a seven weight but could be fished on line rating either up or down. This is very similar to a Sage fly rod. Check on Batson or Rainshadow and you will see these fly rods are well regarded.

Custom wrapped fly rod Rainshadow 9'6" 7 wt with extra 5wt tip
I built this rod for fishing the Trinity River in northern California. So that I would have one rod to handle light action half-pounder fishing and adults. The base is a three-piece Rainshadow RX7 blank in the 9'6" 7wt configuration. I added a 5wt tip that is wrapped to match. The reel seat is a Struble, and the knurled end cap on the reel seat is epoxied in place, so I added a rubber fighting butt. This is a solid rod with medium fast action.

Hello. You are looking at a custom made rod. The blank is a Batson Rainshadow RX7 Graphite Rod Blank(2 piece) The reel is a Shimano Calcutta 401D, the guides are Batson Alps. The blank was originally made to handle up to 4 oz. I wanted to throw up to 5oz. so I trimmed 2.5 inches off the top to get rid of the"slop" so it's not quite 8ft. long. The butt broke and was reepoxied(see in pictures)The spiral wrap is a"slow spiral" featuring the first guide at 0 degrees, then a guide at 45 degrees, 135 degrees, and finally the remaining guides at 180 degrees.
