Inlaid"jungle cock" feather on butt section. Original cork grip and reel seat- good condition. Originally a 8' 5wt. 3 pc. Refinished as a 7'10.5" 5wt. 3pc. some time over the years the tip was repaired at a shorter length by 1.5" Butt section above grip has a repair wrap- seam was slightly open. Not a serious problem. Ferrule wraps are black silk and epoxy coate- I felt that these areas needed more strength. Rod has 4 coats of Spar Urethane Outdoor Clear Semi-Gloss. Rod will cast a 5wt or a 6wt line well. I have cast 50 to 60 feet with the rod. Mid-Flex rod action. Tip is about 1.5" short. The rod is straight- ... morejust did a little straightening of the tip. This is one of my earlier rods. 7'3" Med Action, 5 Wt, Light cane w/staggered nodes, 2/2, Yellow Silk at grip and ferrules, clear silk on guides. Varnish is good, Sections are full length and straight with CSE ferrules, N/S hardware on maple burl reelseat. This is a very nice casting rod. I would describe it as used but not abused. Very Fishable Rod) Comes with ferrule plug and rod sock.

Loomis Fly Rod Previous owner said this is a genuine G. Loomis fly rod project rod. No markings. Two-piece 8 3/4' fly rod with a dark grey shaft and two-hand butt. Appears to be for salt water or salmon. Fighting butt is not detachable. Has a fly rod tip top installed and only needs other guides installed to complete. Shaft has tiny pencil marks spaced for guide placement. Shaft tapers from.465" at front of handle. To.085" at tip. Note. I only have the word of the previous owner that this is a Loomis, so please see pics and be your own judge. Also. All I know about this rod is in this description. When assembled. Rod does measure 105" 8 3/4' Rod is in excellent unused condition. Appears to be very high quality. Comes with the Sage hard case shown. Needs installation of guides. Generic Bulid 7'6" Im6 Graphite 3/4 wt. Fly Rod

I am thinning out the herd. So this RXPLi is up for auction. It is in great shape and performs as it should. The only defect is in the foam of the fighting butt from hooks. This rod has great action and was my main Bonefish rod, but now she just sits as I dont take her out much. Pics pretty much say it all. You are bidding on a a un used San Francisco Scott Power ply 3pc. Graphite rod blank no 525/ 90 A rare find in 3pc. configuration It is a 9 ft. for a 6wt. I am selling it as a second not a 1st. The power is mod + not fast action as a second it is not perfect some imperfection and in the spiral carbon wrap and not perfectly straight at the tip a good rod builder can bulit it straight it is not bad. The blank is from the 70's The blank is sound over all. A spigot style connection with a space for ware. If you are on of those picky guys that pic every element of A ROD A PART DO NOT BID.
