Custom Fly Rod 8wt 9 1/2 ft on a Scott blank
This is what I know about this rod. I bought it from a Steelheader who lived in Willamette Valley. Oregon and he said it was a custom Deschutes steelhead rod made by Steve Blake in Sisters, Oregon on a Scott blank. I took him at his word(no reason not to) and fished it on and off on the Deschutes last year before switching to a spey setup for Steelhead. There is no signature or markings on the rod to confirm or deny the maker or make of this rod, but the fit and finish is extremely nice and detailed. The cork and hardware is in excellent shape and it casts great. Overall a really well made rod. Could be a reliable rod for steelhead or stripers or bonefish. Would price it much higher, but as there's no way to guarantee it's origin, I'm pricing it very fairly. Ships with a hard plastic rod tube and custom rod sock.

Sage 890 GFL II Fly rod 8wt. 9' 2 piece (Rod blank has no info.)
This Sage was a Birthday gift. Bought on consignment through a local Fly Shoppe back in 1992. The rod blank has no info, and I'm only relaying what was told to me. This rod is not factory built. It was used when I got it, and used as my back up until two years ago. I have cast both an 8wt. 9wt. floating lines, and prefer the 8wt. for better balance. The rod has scratches, and the reel seat shows wear to putting on& off the reel. The rod is fully functional and the rod builder did a fantastic wrap job. Please review the pictures. Shipped FedEx. 8wt Redington Path Fly Rod 890-4 With A Blank Warranty Card
This is a lightly used Redington path 8wt. It's been used about 8 times over the corse of a few months. One time in saltwater for reds. And several other times in freshwater for large bass. I never sent in the warranty card, which works out for whoever buys this because they'll be able to register as the owner for the lifetime warranty. This is a great rod for both salt or freshwater uses. It is made to handle both and does the job well. The rod will be shipped in a hard cardboard tube.
