Pac Bay Power Rod Wrapper Fishing Rod Wrapper Rodbuilding
Here is a very nice used Pac Bay power rod wrapper Model No: RW-1L I purchased this from mudhole rod building supply one year ago and have made some very nice rods with it. The wrapper comes with the upgraded aluminum chuck as shown in the pics. The carriage runs smoothly allowing for nice even wraps. There are no flaws other than a little dust from sitting. This comes with two 48" sections as shown allowing for a 7'6" rod to be built. The reversible dryer motor runs nice and slow letting you get good glue coverage on your wraps. All hardware is included. Very nice power wrapper for the beginner to the pro. Fun and easy to use. I'm selling this because I have no time due to my job.

This a numbered copy of the 118 copy limited edition unopened and unread. Signed by Mr. Stinson. I bought a bunch of these from the publisher when they came out so this copy is essentially NEW. They were issued without a Dust Jacket. 5 3/4 X 8 3/4 inch format with 80 pages. Great copy for the collector. Vintage Agate Fishing Rod Guides & Rodbuilding & Repair Items
This group includes 3 vintage agate guides. Two are amber and one is red agate. Four antique fly rod guides. 3 roller guides(good for parts) 12 spinning guides of various sizes, 3 rod tip Tops. 3 rod sections containing very old screw brass ferrules. Five stainless replacement ferrules three of which are new and unused. These items are good to have on hand for the repair of vintage rods as well as the repair of newer rods. The antique brass ferrules have the rod sections attached but can be removed for use on another rod.

American Tackle Guide Placement Chart Rodbuilding
American Tackle Guide Spacing Chart. This chart is used to locate concept and micro style guides in the correct position on any style rod blank with any type of action. The rod tip is bent to a 90% angle from the but of the blank and the curve of the blank is matched up to the different curves on the chart. You can then mark the different guide lines onto the blank with a marker. This works very well! This chart came with a length of string with a small metal hook on the end to load and hold the blank in a 90% position. I no longer have this but you can easily make one. There is a bit of paint overspray on this chart but it should clean up just fine. Posted with

1901 Fly Rods and Fly Tackle, H.P. Wells, rodbuilding Ausable Trout & Game Club
H ere is an early fishing book. Dated 1901, by H.P. Wells on flyrods and fly tackle with lots of technical and detailed information on rod building in the late 1800s into the early 1900s, along with details on flies and flycasting. It was found in an old tackle box that once belonged to a member of the Ausable Trout& Game Club in Michigan. And this book has spent a lot of time in that tackle box, so it is in rough shape(please see closeups among my photos) The cool thing is that the book has a handwritten inscription in the front that says"Compliments of Franklin Ferriss. 1910. This gentleman was a famous Missouri lawyer and Supreme Court justice appointed in 1907 to serve as special examiner in the case of United States v. Standard Oil Company. This is the case in which the U.S. Supreme Court would later order the break-up of Standard ... moreOil in 1911. So the 1910 date would fall within the time he was involved in that case. The book has 448 pages. Including the index, but again it is not in great shape, but would be fine to use as a rodbuilding or fly tackle reference if you want to know how it was done"in the early years. It is a 113-year-old trove of fishing history. Photos show condition. There is no reserve. These and other items I have up for current auction are from a recent field find.
