these are a 4 piece set of acrylic drums. these do not come with a snare. they have vintage rogers type lugs and hardware with vintage slingerland type tom mounts.i do not know if these are actual rogers lugs and slingerland mounts or copies. i am unsure of a brand on these i was told they could be custom but i do not know if they are or not. the heads on these are in good shape but the chrome on the lugs isnt the prettiest. this is a 12& 13" toms 16" floor tom and a 22" bass drum. the shells are in nice condition with out any cracks. there are the 2 small holes on the toms where mufflers were mounted at one time but the mufflers are gone so if you want them they will need to be replaced. there are no other extra holes in these shells. VINTAGE ROGERS TIMBALES 1960s Drums WITH RARE ORIGINAL STAND Chrome Over Brass!
Hello. I am selling a set of 1960s Rogers Timbales with stand. 13" and 14" These look all original. No extra holes. Good shape for 40 years old. These have the rims that are actually metal but covered in a tan rubbery material. Five lug. I am in no way a vintage drum expert but have been told these are rare. These mount with 2 studs on each drum that drop into a slot on each side of the stand. The mounts on each drum is stamped Rogers. The stand is strong and fully functional. The drums could use a good cleaning but they are not rusty. Just dusty. There are a few dings but overall in good shape. Note one of the drums has a piece of the chrome peeling from where it rested in the stand against a brace. This is only visible from the player side. Picture shows this spot for what it is. Chrome over brass. They are sturdy. Durable and ... moresound really good. Will need heads and I will leave that to the buyer. Here's what I found on the net. This is a new addition to my collection I wanted to share with you. I think they are fairly rare and also pretty cool. They are Rogers Timbales. They are from the 1960's and have the script logo badges. The shells are chrome over brass with plastic coated steel rims. The lugs are beavertails. Their sizes are 7"X13" and 7"X14" Rogers called them Humberto Morales Timbales. He was an endorser in 1967. These drums were put together with two bass drums to form the"Timbale Twin" set offered from 1967 to 1970. rogers timbales, With the heads tight and without using the internal muting these bad boys really have a great sound. I can't play Latin rhythms. But I break wild on them and imagine I am playing with Gloria Estefan. They had 45 years of crud on them, but with several hours of work they came out very nice. One-of-a kind - DYNASONIC PROTOTYPE SNARE FRAME COLLECTION - Rogers Dyna Sonic
Rare Dynasonic Prototype Snare Frame Collection.This is for the collector who has it all and wants to display them or just enjoy them. This collection would make the cornerstone of a Rogers Drum or Dynasonic Museum. This collection pre-dates the first production model of the Dynasonic Snare patented by Joe Thompson. Thompson worked tirelessly to invent a snare that would give a crisp sound and lay flat against the head without choking it. This is a one-of-a-kind collection and unique opportunity to own a piece of Rogers history. These were acquired a decade ago from Charlie Costello who featured part of this collection in Rob Cook's book on pages 177-179(first edition) and pages 181-183(second edition. I have included illustrations from the book showing the same collection and also recent photos of the frames. Some are numbered(by Costello) ... moreand the collection is in very good original condition. This collection consists of 64 pieces. As you can see by the first photo. A great deal of thought and work went into the development of the Dyna-sonic snare frames. The prototype frames in this first photo were hand-built by Joe Thompson. Some of these prototypes had"jacking screws" In the final production model Dyna-sonics a small bar was cast at the spot where the tip of the"jacking screw" comes through on the prototype. The protruding bar bent the entire wire end-plate, causing the snares to bow upward and in the middle of the drum. The bowing matched the curvature of the drum head to maintain snare contact across the head. Frames pictured No. 31 and 32 feature individually adjustable snares. A few early parade drums(with gut snares) were made with this rare feature. Frames pictured No. 18-20 were various cast aluminum frames. Note the differences in the snare-rope guides. Frame#18 is an actual first-generation production model as used on Dyna-sonics numbered from 1001-1999. Frames 19. 20, 21 represent the style that was used on Dyna-sonics numbered from 2000- 5000. VINTAGE 1960's ROGERS CHAMPAGNE SPARKLE HOLIDAY MODEL BASS DRUM
I am selling a vintage 1960's sparkling gold Champagne colored. with no indication of pink) Holiday Rogers bass drum. With the drum standing on end, the dimensions of the drum are approx. 18" tall x 20" wide across the top of the drum. I was told by a music shop owner that Rogers drum company was in Dayton Ohio. They were bought out by CBS, who also bough out Fender guitar company. This drum shows a little wear but nothing major. The seams are tight and the drum appears to be all original. There are minor indications of chrome pitting as you can see by one of the photos. The model number located on the sticker is 82068. Overall, this drum appears to be in nice shape for its age. This is a 2007 Robert rock classical guitar in excellent condition. There is one tiny'string ding' which has been repaired and is barely noticeable. It is at the base of the high E string. This guitar is it Cedar top with Cocobolo sides and back. The scale is it 650 mm and 53 mm at the nut. It comes with a Cedar Creek guitar case. Robert rock has an international reputation as one of the finest living luthiers today. His instruments are widely sought after and his waitlist has been closed for many years now. Rogers Fullerton Era 13 Inch KOA Rack Tom
This is a Rogers Fullerton Era 13 Inch KOA Rack Tom. Tom is in great shape. Lugs. Swivo-Mount, and tone control look fantastic. Just missing the bottom hoop and tension rods. Top head is there but has a hole and needs to be replaced. Rest of the drum is intact with no extra holes. This is from the period in the 70's where Rogers used 2 script badges on their rack toms so they could be mounted on either side of the kick. I believe this to be a 9/72 drum however the tags have fallen off the inside of the shell. Parts alone are worth more than the opening bid! NO RESERVE!

There is one area that has some scratches as well as a wear spot near one lug next to the badge. These area really do not detract from the great condition of the drum as it displays great. Chrome is in very good condition, some minor pitting on lugs as well as some wear but very nice as stated. To me drum looks to be all correct. Here is a great looking. Sparkling, Butcher Block BIG R Rogers drum! It measures 12.5 inches across. The Drum had a LUDWIG Clamp as I can see the name. It also comes complete with the Metal Arm(unsure of brand) but I did buy both of it together. See pics. I'm not a drummer but it looks to be in very good shape. The metal arm that I have likely sells for $30+ but I'm not sure how it fits/ clamps on. You would hopefully know. All in all. It is a nice package deal. Btw. Rogers 1965 Model 4402 Swivomatic 1 Piece Footboard Hi-Hat Stand
I bought this on ebay from a collector whose work I have grown to respect and admire. He selects only top level hardware and restores. When necessary, to an extraordinarily high level. I do my own restorations, and I know superior work. and this is a very fine piece indeed. Here is a prime example: a mid 60's Rogers Swivomatic hi hat Model 4402. As you can see in the pictures. It is extremely clean right down to the rivets. As the pedal shows, Made In The USA. I have restored a few of the Rogers hi hats and pedals and can attest to their clever engineering and design. It is far superior to Ludwigs and Slingerlands from the same era. The manufacturing was at an equally high level. The pieces are all constructed from high quality metal. I think it is fair to say that we have all witnessed a general"cheapening" of materials over ... morethe decades; we all know why, too- Drum Companies(and others) are competing in a world marketplace. Back in'the day, Rogers could and did take pride and built these to the highest standards. If they tried to make this pedal today, they'd be out of business in no time! Sorry to be on my soapbox. But the Rogers Company's hardware from this era is art! If you know the history of Rogers, and know how beautifully these play, I won't need to say more. There are a few marks on the vertical tubing. The pictures tell the story of the lower unit. The pedals are easily adjustable. By using a drum key to work the screw inserted into the bottom of the tube(that's another clever bit of design, but I'll stop! The footboard is also adjustable fore and aft I am not certain this is the correct clutch. But its look and adjusting wing bolt fit right in. New felts on the clutch and base. The gentleman who did the work on this stand attached a Rogers sticker, and it sets the piece off to perfection. I am glad to ship internationally. Rogers New England White 12"x15" Swivomatic Tom Great Shape, Original !!
This auction is for a Rogers New England White. 12" x 15" tom tom with a Swivomatic mount. This drum has 16 lugs, with 8 per side. There is a Rogers muffler and a Swivo collet mount with an uncracked collet. The interior of the drum is a gray speckled and there is not any paper tag inside this drum. All the others that I am selling have the 9/72 tag. There is a near new Ludwig silver dot head on the batter side and a used Remo pinstrip head on the resonant side. Both heads have plenty of life left in them. The metal parts are all original to the drum and in very nice, clean shape. The bearing edges on both sides of the drum are unmodified and have not been damaged in any way. The interior of this drum is in very good shape. The muffler is a white felt Rogers type. I am selling other New England White drums and there will be more ... morelisted soon. There is one seam on this wrap and it is tight and held down by two lugs. I see one very minor scuff on the drum. But other than that, there are no issues with the wrap. This is not an extremely common size Rogers drum and it is in excellent shape. All original, except for the heads. The shipping on this drum will be a fixed rate of $25.00 in the continental United States. Shipping to any other region which does allow packages of 108" length and girth will be at actual cost. It will be carefully packed for shipment. But took really good care of it, and we had to polish it before every family event! It is 16 inches in diameter and spins very well.It is sturdy and well made. This is a six piece lot of what I believe is silverplate spoons and one piece I am guessing is a cake or pie server. I don't think the piece with the clock on the end is silverplate. Just metal. There is a grapefruit spoon that says Administration Building and the back says Norman Mfg Co A1 there is a mark but it is so tiny I can't see what it is. There is a Jelly Knife that says BANNER BUGGIES on the back Rogers& sons AA. One small spoon says Heinz Home Office Pittsburg USA. There is one that looks like a shovel with a windmill on one end and a scene of four people gathered around a table with a dog, says Holland on the back. and the other has a clock on one end and a scene of a man and woman sitting at a table.
