This lot includes a used Renzetti traveler vise on a pedestal. I recently cleaned this vise up and replaced the band. Ball bearings and spring in the head. I tied a few dozen flies on it and it is working great. There is some miscellaneous packs of new tying materials. 8 packs of new Umpqua/Tiemco hooks. 3) packs of 206BL#20 barbless(75 hooks) 1) TMC5262#16(25 hooks) The Umpqua U-Series say quantity 50, but are mislabeled. These packs appear to have about 10 hooks per pack. size 8,12,18,20. There is 15 spools of thread that appear to be unused. We have for bid two fine ATCO heavy base fishing fly tying items. There is a larger base with rectangular magnifier. It is in good condition with the glass having chips in three of the magnifier corners. The second piece with the round magnifier is in very good condition with the round glass being in excellent condition. The connectors are in fine working condition as are the clamps. Dyna King Professional Vise with LOTS of extras!! Not Renzetti, HMH, Orvis
Unique. Used Dyna King Professional Vise with these extras. The vise comes mounted on an AK Best base. You can't find the AK vises or bases very often. This base is heavier, more stable and has the proprietary"third hand" that came on all the AK vises. In addition the vise has the magnum jaws(in the vise now) and two extra sets of regular jaws-both in great condition. You'll notice a hackle gauge attached to the stem, the Dyna King material clip on top of the vise, the bench clamp for the vise comes with it along with a gallows hanger, and last but not least the Dyna King cement reservoir. The vise is in excellent shape. I've tied a lot of flies on it, but you will have a hard time wearing one of these vises out. I have a Barracuda that I use more so making some room on the desk. The reservoir will take a bit of solvent ... moreto loosen some old head cement in the bottom but is a great way to store the cement and prevent those bench spills. Box- 12" x 9 1/4" x 2 1/4" 1 lb. 1 oz. weight- This is a vintage Tack-L-Tyers Fly or Bug Tying kit. Condition: The box shows wear and tear. With coffee stain on bottom of box. The feathers, in all colors, shapes, and sizes, appear to be in nice, fluffy shape. It appears there is one jar missing. The vise looks new, or lightly used. The fly tying wax is solid, as well as the liquid lacquer cement. The old cellophane packages containing the feathers, yarn, and floss, are all fragile and ripped. The kit also contains ribbing tinsel, hooks, scissors, thread, instructions, and two small finished flies, and two large finished lures. The larges lure is 8 1/4" in length, the other 6" in length. Vintage Fly Tying Vise Sunrise India Stainless Vise, Cast Iron Base Fishing Tool
I've had this vise for about 35 years and never used it. It is in excellent condition with no damage or defects. The head and upright shaft are stainless and the base is cast iron. There is an adjustment clamp on top of the base that allows the head to be positioned in a 360 degree rotation and also adjusts the height. This clamp has a threaded hand screw into the base to hold the upright and head in position. The shaft reads Sunrise India. The rectangular base measures 4 X 5-1/2 inches. This item stands about 7-1/2 inches tall when the shaft is at the highest point. There are four holes in the base to allow it to be permanently attached to a work surface. The top side of the cast iron is textured for appearance. I pack my items well as you can see by checking my feedback. Hi. This auction is for an HMH tube fly adapter. This handy device fits into the jaws of your vice(doesn't have to be HMH) and allows you to tie all sorts of tube flies. The adapter will fit into any vice jaws that'll take a 2/0 hook. The converter has been used and is in very good condition. It includes 2 machined steel mandrels. 1 extra mandrel, and a modified blind eye hook, which cover pretty much all eventualities. This converter is the same as the one used by Davie McPhail in his superb series of Youtube videos(I recommend that all fly-tyers should make a point of watching at least some of these excellent videos) Please note that I also have auctions running for an HMH Standard vice. Fly-tying toolkit - a great basic set of tools for tying any kind of flies
Hi. This auction is for a really nice set of basic fly-tying tools. All have been used toa greater or lesser extent, but the scissors are virtually brand new, barely used, and in perfect condition. Set comprises: 1x J Dorins teardrop hackle pliers- Large(I'm pretty sure they're the large model) 1 x English hackle pliers- Large 1x Whip Finish tool 2 x Griffin Ceramic Supreme bobbins holders- really nice size and weight. With a ceramic insert in the tip of the tube. 1x Sportfish branded gold loop scissors- 3.5" extra fine tip- barely used. 1x Home made bobbin threader. A very useful. Time-saving, tool made from nylon monofilament whipped to a length of dowel. Postage and packing is £2.70 to the UK(£3.50 overseas) for the first item. Then +10p per item thereafter.
