Up for sale are 2 older. But in great condition, Big Jon electric downriggers. They have been stored for over 10 years, as I just haven't used my boat for salmon fishing. When they were new they weren't used all that much, so bid with confidence that these will make a great addition to any salmon setup. Both downriggers have double rod holders, Big Jon swivel bases, 4' arms, 3" Pursuit track bases, and a cannonball weight retriever/pulley line. Bench tested and everything worked fine.

There is a decal on the side as you see in pictures 3& 5. That shows. Big Jon Inc, ph.616-223-4342. As you see in the pictures it has a rod holder, the boom is about 4ft and is fiberglass, it has a line counter as you see in picture 5 and line. The reel has a adjustable knob on the side as you see in picture 2, so you can set how fast the weight will drop or speed of the reel turn, it has a knob on the other side as you see in picture 5(upper left knob) push in to stop the reel from turning or pull out to turn the reel. In picture 6 you can see it flips up and locks by a knob on the side as you see in picture 5(lower knob) good to have when you ... moretrailer your boat for travel. This does have some scruf/scratches from use, on the rod holder has paint chipping. 2 Used St. Croix 4006-MH-AR 8’6” Trolling Fishing Rods Outrigger Downrigger
Both are used and both are identical. Both are Medallion models. Both have roller guides and roller tip tops. Both are two-piece rods. Both have mars. Rubs and scratches on the blanks. Both rods are missing the butt caps and one has a couple of chunks missing from the cork handles. Nothing too serious) They are very usable just the way they are. The fore grips are fine. All of the cork handles and fore grips are dirty and will clean up easily with a coarse rag and warm, soapy water. That’s up to the next owner. Butt caps and new cork handles are available on eBay and through a reputable rod repair person. I recommend to the next owner to apply some kind of lubricant to the male and female ferrules before putting them together. I did apply a touch of vegetable(cooking) oil and that did help a lot. I see nothing wrong with any of the roller ... moreguides. You can mount a conventional or a HD spinning reel onto these. A label on each says that they were made, but not limited to, Salmon, Trout and Steelhead fishing. Photos should say the rest. PENN 600 Fathom Master Downrigger loaded with braid
Auction is for a Penn Phantom Master downrigger loaded with braid. Don't recall the pound test of the braid loaded it with braid to get rid of the hum of the wire while trolling at higher speed for tuna. Seem to recall it was 250-300# never failed with a large planner. Downrigger was used a couple of trips then by pal sold the boat. The mounting plate went with the boat. Has normal signs of use. All metal is like new, no pitting or corrosion. No fading of decals or depth gauge.
