Here is an old Cannon Hi low profile swivel base for cannon downriggers. This comes with the hi profile downrigger mount as well. This is different from the low profile swivel bases that you see by the hundreds on ebay. This one is built like a tank and is made from steel and aluminum. Cannon stopped making these many years ago because it was too expensive to make them from steel and aluminum. They started making the new low profile swivel base design which was cheaper to manufacture. Up for grabs a pair of two Cannon high profile swivel bases. These accept ALL Cannon downrigger bases! except the Mini-Troll. Which is the smallest clamp on downrigger. Cleaned. Operate smoothly and ready for use. Include hardware to mount the Mag 10/ older LARGE BODY Uni-troll downriggers to the swivel. You will need to shorten the screws or buy shorter ones if mounting Easi-Troll or Uni-Troll HP bases to these. They are in good physical condition and look nice. Here is a real nice Pair of Swivel Bases for a Cannon Downrigger. Swivel Bases Mount to your Boat and have a Pull Out Lever that allows the Bases to Swivel into 6 Different Positions. Each base has the extra Standard Base Attached. The Bases work fine. One of the bases needs a set of Bolts to hold the Standard Base on.Any Hardware Store/Home Depot will have them. Cannon Downrigger Gimbal Swivel Bases
You are bidding on a pair of Cannon Downrigger big body swivel bases mounted on 9" 30 degree gimbal mounts. I have used these for 3 seasons and they have worked great. 1 set up has been completely upgraded to the extreme duty mounting plate and the other has the regular mounting plate. As you can tell from the pictures one swivel base has a chip in it on a corner. This has not affected it's functioning in any way. I am moving to using gunnel mounts on the new set up so I have no need for these. Please ask all questions before bidding and check out my other auctions for fishing gear and clothing.

List price: $135.95 Bert's Adjustable Swivel Base is made of weather resistant aluminum. Corrosion resistant stainless steel and UV stable plastics. This product is made for both fresh water and salt water. For strength they use metal plates to back the bearings. The positive gear lock system is unique in that the swivel base swings free when you pull the lever and remains free until you release it. When released, the pin locks in the center of a tapered gear tooth that is machined into the swivel base. The gear tooth form has tapered walls so that the pin locks on the sidewalls of the gear and doesn't bottom out. This means that the swivel base locks in the ... morecenter of the gear tooth without play or wobble. The 12 position adjustment feature and the easy base rotation are handy when you have multiple lines in the water or you've got a strike and need to reposition the down rigger as the fish moves.
