Is saltwater proof and can be changed from left to right hand wind easily. It would be perfect paired with a Spey or switch rod. The reel has had some use. But is in reasonable working order. Mechanically it is good shape and the drag and clicker mechanism function well. Cosmetically it has a number of small dings and blemishes. This particular model was supplied with a black stealth paint finish, rather than anodization. The paintwork on this was was in bad shape, so it has been re-sprayed. The current paintwork is ok, but not perfect- see pictures. This is a good functioning reel to use, not one for a collector. Spool diameter is approximately 3.75 inches. Width approximately 0.875 inches. Should take an 8, 9 or even 10 weight single handed line with ample backing. With a Spey or switch rod, it would suit a 6, 7 or 8 weight line.
