2 vintage richard wheatley large trout salmon fly fishing silmalloy boxes
for sale here is a pair of large 6" x 3.5" deep wheatley boxes. One is a 4 sided clip in good condition, theres 4 holes drilled on the hinge, dont know why, they dont seem to serve any purpose(3rd foto) the next one is a foam 4 sided, overall good undamaged but the foam could do with being glued down a bit. anyway please look at the fotos, i dont have the time to send out individual dispatch emails but items are normally posted the day after being paid for, i will post anywhere insured and recorded, and please view my other many listings of vintage items this week.thanks for looking.and i do eventually get round to leaving feedback once they build up to about 300 i do them all at once.

Very rare large wheatley fly box stamped on the outer casing wheatley silmalloy metal I counted 238 clips there are no flys included in the sale these are added for effect however would look great with some nice salmon flies in there Insides are are very good but some scratches and a tiny dent on the outside. Im not sure i have ever seen one as big as this and with as many clips The clips have bigger spaces for bigger flys on two doors 7 rows and 7 column and smaller spaces on two doors 7 rows and 10 column

Here is a nice vintage fly fishing accessory. It is in used condition with some usage tarnishing/marking of the alloy(see clear picture to decide before bidding) It is stamped with the makers details Wheatley and Silmalloy and looks to be an early one. It is a clipped lid one with space for casts and then sectio ns for smaller and larger flies. It is fully working and folds well and contains assorted vintage and modern used and unused flies. Some large salmon flies, some small assorted trout. These are not often seen for sale and highly collectable. Postage cost reflects the new Royal Mail price structure for this size of item to be packed and posted- this includes time and packaging materials.
