This auction is for a Perrine#60 fly box. This fly fishing box includes 11 vintage fly lures. It is made from aluminum. So the case will not crack or split, and is exceptionally light to carry. Ventilation holes prevent wet or dry rot of flies that you store. The case measures approximately 3 3/4” long by 2 5/8” wide by 3/4” deep. Including the flies within, it weighs only 2 ounces. The exterior of the case has some small scratches and abrasions. But the hinge still works perfectly, the case shuts tightly, and the interior looks great. Vintage PERRINE Aluminum Fly Fishing Case, Box # 92 w/Over 75 Flies
I tried to count the flies in this case but there were some groups of small flies with tiny hooks. There are at least 75. They look to be in great condition and a variety of styles and sizes. VINTAGE. PERRINE FLY FISHING BOX ALUMINUM CASE, GOLD TONE, 67. VERY GOOD! This PERRINE. Gold tone, 67 aluminum box. Is in like new condition, really nice! I collected the box about forty years ago, and have never used it. When closed, this box measures about, 3 3/4" in length, and 2 5/8" in width, and has a depth of about 1 1/8" when closed. It's measurements are: 6" x 3.875" x 1.875" The box is in excellent condition with hardly a mark on it from past use. And it's loaded with an assortment of 75 salmon wet flies that are still in good condition. These flies come in various patterns and hook sizes;some are single hook and some are double hooks. The flies in this offering were chosen and used because of their effectiveness on sea-run Atlantic salmon on the Mirimichi River in New Brunswick. Canada. But I'm sure they would be as effective for salmon/trout in other places as well.

This is a lot of 4 vintage Perrine#66 metal fly fishing boxes in good used condition. Boxes show some wear on the outside but open and close perfectly and still very clean on the inside. Strong and tight hinges. There are about 150 flies in good fishing condition with a few with some rust on hooks. Most are freshwater trout flies with a handful of bass flies.
