Men's Norm Thompson fly fishing vest w/ vented back and lots of pockets size XL
This auction is for a men's Norm Thompson brand fishing vest with vented back and lots and lots of pockets. Size XL. It is khaki-colored and it is in excellent pre-owned condition with just two very minor flaws. There are a few small stains that I haven't been able to get out, the biggest of which is shown in one of the accompanying photos. It's probably about half the size of a dime, and the other two spots are much smaller and much less noticeable. There is also a small, approximately 1/8-inch, tear along the collar seam which is also shown in one of the photos. Neither of these flaws greatly affect the apearance, and they certainly wouldn't affect the usefulness of the vest, but I do try to be completely honest in my descriptions. And for such a low starting price, this is an opportunity to get a great piece of fishing ... moreequipment at a tiny fraction of its retail cost. The vest has a chest pocket on each side. Both of which have velcro closures. It has two bigger pockets below the chest pockets which both have snaps and velcro. It has two inside pockets which both have zipper closures and measure about 7 3/4 x 9 inches. It also has a roughly 10 1/2 x 16 1/2 inch pocket across the lower back with a zipper closure. Zip-front. 18 pockets outside. 6 pockets inside plus large map pocket inside, as well as various hooks, straps etc to attach things to. In great gently pre-owned condition with one issue: the front snap closure has come apart- all the pieces are still there. But the"receiving" part has come in half and is stuck inside the"button snap" part. An easy fix if you have a snap repair kit, or a seamstress will usually charge a few bucks to do it. Otherwise no flaws- no spots or stains. No smells, no holes or tears, no paint loss to the many zipper pulls so I don't think this vest has ever seen action. All zippers. Velcro closures etc intact and work ... morefine. Tagged size Large. Compare measurements to a similar garment of your own to ensure fit- you may wear the same size but sizes can and do vary.
