While these are older units. They have been meticulously maintained and are in great working order. They have never been used in salt water and have been stored inside for the past few years. Each unit has a 5 ft cable for connecting to battery. They have 3 digit footage counters and a powerful 12 volt sealed motor with an up/ down switch. The white rigger has a 29 inch boom and the black one is 15.5 inches. The bases are the normal cannon 4.5 inch square bases that do not include any mounting brackets or hardware. There is a single adjustable rod holder per unit. I am including 2 cables with weight clips that are 150 to 200ft long that are from different downriggers but will work just the same. This auction is for a pair(two) of cannon down riggers easi-troll these are used but very gently and only for a short time comes with the mounting plates for easy disconnect for storage these will come with 6 of the 8 mounting bolts(i must of miss placed them last year when i removed them from my boat) They have depth counters and 100 plus feet of steel line. The gentleman I received these from said they were store displays. He only used them once. And were otherwise stored! Looking at them, that's believable! Clearly well cared for, as he even kept the instructions! I snapped photos under the motor covers when I changed the power cords, and as you can see, everything looks like new! No water intrusion! You rarely EVER see downriggers so clean. And if a seller doesn't include an"underhood" pic.well.they probably don't look this good! I have more photos I can send to anyone interested. With telescopic booms(extend from 24-53" standard mounting bases, and new cable on both! The Uni-Troll 10 is the later-model. TOP END Cannon manual downrigger, with a HIGH SPEED RETRIEVE, 1.5 spool turns per crank)this means much less work than a comparable Big Jon, Penn, or older Cannon( Uni-troll 6, Dual Crank, etc. If you run manual downriggers, these are the ones you want! Upgraded to the newest style. 2007+ spools! This is the only pair on eBay with this done! Although many think(or claim) there is no difference between Cannon Uni-Troll HP. And the newer Uni-Troll 10(made after the Johnson Outdoors buyout) THAT IS WRONG! Cannon made significant changes to the spool ... moredesign to solve a long standing problem. The Uni-Troll HP spool was a three piece unit. With a thin and brittle spool, and two"half moon" shaped filler inserts. The inserts screwed into the base spool to effectively make the spool larger and increase retrieve speed. Unfortunately this design was flawed in many ways, as the spools frequently flex and crack, and the cable gets stuck and tangled between the filler inserts. If the spool fails while a weight is in the water, you can say goodbye to it, as well as your fishing trip for the day. Often times they do not give any kind of warning signs, and the only way to tell whats going on is to un-spool the cable, remove the inserts and inspect it. One of the spools on even this well-maintained pair completely came apart, and after inspection, the other had started to separate as well.this is a very common thing. Needless to say both spools have been changed to the new style. And for a graphic explanation, please review the last photo in the listing. This auction offers 2 each(one pair) of Luhr Jensen"The King" used Downriggers that are in very good working condition. Some fading color on the plastic components but they work well. Both have counters that work but I'm not sure they are the correct counter o-rings on them. One has a built in rod holder and the other does not. Both come with an aluminum mounting base. Both of the brakes look good and work well. The cable appears to be in very good condition but could be stretched or reversed for proper wear.
