I am selling a used vintage bamboo fly rod( I believe it is from the late 40's or 50's) Includes two different tips. It is a three piece rod( with two different tips) and measures 12.8 feet or 12.6 feet depending on the final end chosen. I picked this up at an estate sale along with other vintage items. Over all condition is very fine- eyelets are still original and fastened tight. Please ask any question and I will answer to the best of my ability. 4 VINTAGE BIG JON JETTISON SINKER RELEASE & 1 OREGON DIVER No. 2
I have had these for a while in my deep sea tackle box. I will do my best to give you some info on each. The first one is a Oregon Diver No. 2and it was patented in 1972. It is a fi shing line submerging device and the patent No. is US 3667148 A. This is a device for connection to a fishing troll line to force the tail line and its connected flashers and natural bait or artificial lures to a desired depth in water being fished. And including means automatically operated by a fish when striking the bait or lure for setting the fish hook. The other four are Patent No. 3641700 and are a sinker release assembly mounted on a fishing line with means to frictionally engage the line and hold the assembly in a fixed position on the line. Which means is releasable to permit the parts of the assembly to slide on the line. The assembly comprises a body ... moremember having a longitudinal passage therethrough with two spaced wing elements having aligned holes to receive a plug of a size closely fitting in the holes and which has a transverse aperture adjacent one end. The fishing line is passed through the body passage and plug aperture and the plug is then inserted into the aligned holes to wedge the line therein and hold the assembly on the line. A pull by a fish will withdraw the plug from the holes and free the body and plug to slide on the line. Three of these are yellow and the fourth one is red. This is an old pair of lead fish-shaped downrigger boat weights. They have their original paint and show some wear and tear from years of use. I've had these for over 15 years and purchased these from a man who had them for years. He told me these were used for years on Lake Erie but I am unsure of the exact age of these weights. I weighed these on my scale and they both registered 9.4 pounds. They will ship in a medium flat-rate box. They measure 9-1/4" long x 4" wide x 3-1/2" tall not measuring the hooks. 2-Penn Fathom-Master 600 Manual Downriggers Vintage NO BASES
Thanks for looking at this pair of vintage PENN 600 FATHOM-MASTER manual downriggers. There is a little bit of difference in style. But both are 600's. One boom from center of the end roller to black base is ~ 21 3/4in. The other boom measures ~ 19.5in. Drag works in both reels. Shorter downrigger is missing the cannonball clip and red roller handle as shown. Very good used condition. THERE ARE NO BASES FOR THESE DOWNRIGGERS. Feel free to ask questions.

Purchased these a few years back with plans to strip and re finish. I no longer have the boat so I'm just making room. No cracks or other damage. They work fine. Probably early Perko or Wilcox. One holder looks like it will fit a small 1 1/8 outrigger while the second holder is much larger opening of 2" Please look at the pictures for more information. These are sold as is. They may need to me re chromed but they could be used right away. They are chrome plated over Brass or Bronze but I would bet on Bronze b/c the base is so heavy.
