Little used CANNON"EASI-TROLL" DOWNRIGGER UNIT, still in very good overall condition for angling use, composed of hard, black resin body with black, reinforced& Cannon" imprinted spool equipped with woven, stainless steel wire line, controlled by black handled hand crank on right side, plus line counter, and solid fiberglass arm of 20" OAL with rotating cable pully at top having an articulating head for cable control, and with wire line rigged for attachment of various weight, planers, lure combinations for either fresh or salt water. A slip-fit base on bottom of the unit is for attachment to any of CANNONs proprietary base plates of course, and a Rod Holder has been added to the back of the unit on an alloy attachment.See Photos) Condition is quite functional still, with NO cracks, dings, dents, ... morebroken/ missing parts, or other"problems" that we can see. You will require only the correct CANNON base to be ready-to-go. Additionally. Though the wire cable looks fine, it probably needs to be run-out, checked visually, and cleaned before hard use we'd guess, after a season or two on the shelf. but that's about it! Actual length is approx. 37" OAL, by about 8" in width from outside of the left plate at raised gearbox, to opposite side at end of the black poly, 3 1/4" crank handle. PENN DOWNRIGGER MODEL 600 WITH ROD HOLDER SHOP CLEANED AND SERVICED While cleaning out the garage last week I found a lot of interesting items that I thought some of you would enjoy or need more than I do at the moment. This listing is for a PENN 600 FATHOM-MASTER DOWNRIGGER with a rod holder attached. The boom is 24 inches long. Penn Fathom-Master downriggers have earned a reputation for solid. Dependable performance in both fresh and salt water. Whether it's getting down for salmon, steelhead and lake trout, lowering the boom on walleye and striped bass, or descending for deep running bluefish, king mackerel or tuna, no angling task is too tough for a Fathom-Master. Penn's exclusive Fathom-Master drag system allows one hand operation when lowering or stopping the downrigger weight. Drag system lets cable play out if the weight snags ... moreon the bottom. Crank handle does not turn while the weight descends. Fathom-Master downriggers come pre-installed with Penn's easy-to-rig Tru-Trac cable hardware- simple to remove and re-install without crimping tools. This downrigger is used but I sent it to my repair shop to have them go thru it and clean it up and lube it so it would be ready to fish. Everything functions as it should. There is a lot of line on the spool. Looks like twice as much as normal. The swivel clip on the end of the wire is new as well. The unit shows normal wear, no problems that I can see. The small piece of white tape that marks the line counter is starting to come off on one end and some discoloration on the red crank handle. The downrigger does not come with a mount however I will list a few mounts separately as well as an assortment of balls and ball holders. This downrigger is ready to fish! A nice used Daiwa trolling downrigger rod 8 feet 6 inch medium light with 9 guides. I don't know how old it is.
