Lubrication or? so*PARTS ONLY! on this black& chromed PENN Reel. Features classic black"Bakelite" type sideplates with chromed brass inside& outside rim guards s held apart by six(6) chromed brass pillars with open top for thumbing the spool of course. Also has the HD reel seat with factory rod strap, plus chromed spool, small parts, counter-balanced handle with green"swirl" plastic finger grip as well. This Senator 3/0 Reel probably dates back into the 1960s era, and has already stood the test of time. Measuring about 3 1/4" across from left sideplate with chromed bearing cover& functioning"clicker" ... morebutton to the right sideplate with free spool lever& raised gear box molded into the plate. Reel diameter is approx. 3 51/4" with left sideplate clearly marked: PENN Senator" just below the spool ends bearing cover, plus has"Game Fish Reel" imprinted below. Vintage& classic. Old school PENN"SQUIDDER" MODEL#140 GAME FISH REEL, still in excellent overall condition, from back in the 1960s era we'd guess. Reel features maroon sideplates with chromed brass inside& outside rim guards, handle& star drag, and reel foot of course, with plates held apart by four(4) chromed brass pillars with wide open top for"thumbing" the spool of course. Also has the HD reel seat marked: 30-200" with twin square holes for the factory rod strap screws, plate, wing nuts(NOT included but easily obtained on-line) plus heavy duty, chromed spool, small parts, counter-balanced handle with green"swirl" plastic finger grip as well. This old school Squidder#140 Reel probably dates back into the 1960s era, and has already stood the test of time with flying colors.See Photos) Reel ... moremeasures about 5 3/4" across from left sideplate with chromed bearing cover& functioning"clicker" button across to the right sideplate on top of the chromed nut holding the handle& star drag on. Right sideplate has the"free spool lever" at top above the gearbox, which is molded right onto the plate for strength. TWO very RARE Heddon insert papers. Here is a Heddon Dowagiac box with a 3 treble hook set up. Glass eyed lure. Not sure, I think the lure is wood. The lure is about 4 1/2" long overall. I think the box was only used by Heddon from 1914 to 1920. In the box are 2 originla paper inserts. One is the instruction sheet and the other is an advertisement for the Baby Crab Wiggler. This was just purchased from a local estate sale. The back has the issue No. 1780 and PENNA. The badge is fairly large- 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The pin is in good condition but probably was involved with moisture some time ago. Very minor oxidation is noted on pin area. The pin is in fine working condition. The photos do a great job of showing the overall condition. These badges are getting very hard to find and this particular badge will make a great addition to any collection of vintage licenses, fish or game warden badges.
