4 Vintage Bone and Bamboo Mahjong Tiles Jokers Replacements Blanks Mah Jong
This is a wonderful set of 4 vintage Ox bone and bamboo blank Mah Jong tiles- perfect for Jokers. Replacements or craft. They each measure 1 1/4" by 7/8" 3 of the tiles are thick bone(about 3/16" and one is sliding off the bamboo backing but is not loose(it slides if you push it hard but is still tight on the bamboo- won't fall off on its own) 1 tile is thinner bone(about 1/8" and is very textured bone- it has"holes" from the natural ox bone and has a bit of lighter color than the other 3 tiles. Rare Paul Hightower Bamboo fly rod Built on Granger Blanks Flyrod Cane
Where else will you find an 8 foot 4/5 line cane rod for this price? Paul Hightower worked for Bill Phillipson of Phillipson Rods in Denver. As I recall I bought this rod from Bob's Tackle Shop in Denver back before moving to Montana. This is basically the same as a Granger or Wright McGill 8 foot 5 weight(although I like these rods with a 4/5 Wulff Triangle tip) This one is a darned nice 8 foot 3/2 rod that's not had any repairs; full length; straight. Comes with the case Bob's provided and a newly replaced REC cotton bag. I haven't fished this much over the 20 years or so I've owned it(although. For your consideration is this antique HARDY BROS. 3/2 bamboo fly fishing rod for restoration with sleeve and cardboard tube. Serial number stamped on the seat: E14724. This indicates 1925 as the year of manufacture. Stamped on the metal ring: MADE BY HARDY BROS. LTD. ALNWICK. ENGLAND. Also a detailed stamp of a Royal Warrant of Appointment crest. Below reads: BY APPOINTMENT. Hardy Bros. received several Royal Warrants beginning with the late King George V. Later appointments by the Prince of Wales.
