Let me start with a quick history of how we discovered this amazing reel. We live in Madison. Indiana. Our home and barn are located on the banks of the Indian-Kentuck Creek and the Ohio River. In researching the reel we have dated our home to the early 1830's. From that point the court house records get little harder to follow. Our house by todays standards would be considered median size, however in the 1830's, from our research, it would have been considered large and possibly owned by a more affluent family. We inherited the homestead from my husbands family over 25 years ago along with the barn and all of its contents. About 18months ago, we decided to start going through several old wooden boxes, including some old ammunition boxes. In one of the boxes we found several antique wood working tools and this heavy, grungy looking ... morefishing reel. I grew up fishing and hunting with my dad so I loved the look and feel of this reel immediately! You could just tell there was something special about this reel. I wiped off a little bit of the dirt and then started doing my research. Let me start by saying this reel is not perfect. You will see by the pictures and the description. That there are some issues with this reel. However, I have spent about the last 18 months working with a top authority in Meek reels and Kentucky reels in order to give you as accurate of a description of this reel as I could, its history, and its possible value. The reel has been described as"museum quality" and"historically important and very valuable" AS IS" and due to its age alone. The suggested starting price"as is" was $10.000. If you are seriously looking at this auction, I'm assuming that you already know the type of reel I'm offering and already have some knowledge of its history and value. Used 24Seven Downhill/ Dirt Jump single chainring. 40T 110 BCD(non-compact) or 3-Piece(BMX-style) fitting. I have used this with used and new 9-Sp chains and no slippage. It has not been tried with 10-Sp chains. But the teeth are chunky( so I wouldn't recommend it. Digital scale included in picture only to show weight! This is a SOLID piece of metal and is not lightweight(231g) However it does work very well if weight is not an issue. This is a single chainring. This Takamine EG416S is simply a wonderful guitar. For songwriters or anyone else looking for the perfect partner for your creative muse. The search is over. The solid spruce top allows the guitar to speak with a voice larger than one would expect. As you can see in the pictures, the back an bottom are simply stunning. The deep, rich rosewood provides a stunning contrast to the most gorgeous quilted maple that you can imagine. The mahogany neck with a 1-11/16" wide nut is extremely comfortable, the action is low and the intonation is spot on. The sealed tuners are gold with black buttons, they work smoothly and hold tightly. Takamine calls this style of body a"New Yorker" It is not"little" like a parlor guitar, but this isn't a dreadnaught either. The upper bout is 10-5/8" wide, the lower bout is 14-1/4" ... moreThis size body is a fingerpicker's delight. The tone is balanced, articulate, and very, very sweet. I'm sure that is in part due to the 25-1/2" scale length. The TP-4T pickup system is excellent, with three bands of equalization, shelved just where you want them to be. The onboard tuner is just an additional plus. This instrument is well set up. I have polished the frets and conditioned the fretboard and bridge. The truss rod was checked and adjusted and the nut slots were polished and lubed. I tested the electronics and everything works exactly as it should. It plays very well. With the action set to 3/32” at the 12 th fret. This guitar has never been previously sold andhas no player's wear at all. It Is without dings or blems. I've inspected it inside and out. And can find no evidence of repair at all. Sadly, Takamine has chosen to stop production of this model. That means they won't be getting any easier to find, especially in this condition and at this price. Included with new favorite guitar is the correct Takamine gig bag. 2011 O'cuilleain acoustic guitar in like new condition with the original hard shell case. I am the original purchaser of this guitar and it has been kept in my humidity controlled guitar room since I have owned it.With the exception of a few times I have brought it to get-togethers. I have used this guitar equally for flatpicking and fingerpicking and while it has the guts for hard strumming it is a very nice fingerpicker. Tone reminds me of my 1973 martin d28. The set up is medium and I have not had to monkey with it all since I have owned it. I bought this guitar because it is all solid wood construction with REAL abalone trim. Even the binding is hard maple. Other than the bridge pins, I do not think there is any plastic on this guitar. High level of fit and finish. But my interests have changed to older guitars that I am developing ... moremy luthier skills on and enjoying quite a bit. This is the guitar i have decided to sell to continue my parlor guitar obsession. I have played this at least once a week and the sound has improved, especially in the last 6 months or so. Really starting to open up, as solid wood will do. Solid sitka spruce top. Solid indian rosewood back and sides. Hand carved forward X-pattern bracing. 1 3/4 inch nut width. grover tuners. Be sure to add me to your! SIMPLE NATURAL ELEGANCE describes this 1860's era bed acquired at a Missouri Century Farm. The headboard. Foot, and side rails are all solid walnut. The 53 inch wide. 45 inch high headboard has a top row of small oblong shapes with v's cut out between them, and a round circle carved in the top of each shape, which contrasts with the simple applied horizontal lengths on the rest of the headboard and foot. A slat framework is attached to the inside of each side board; slats are not included. The side boards have a metal slide which hooks into the headboard and foot. The bed is easily assembled. Beautiful Vintage/ Antique Kashmiri Islamic Solid Silver Fruit Bowl or Fruit Dish. Skillfully hand made with all over inticate hand engraved details typical of Kashmiri silver. I have had it scanned electronically at a bullion dealers. It scans as 900 silver and they offered £400 cash as scrap. It is also stamped'SILVER' under the rim. It's beautiful and it would be a crime to scrap it. Even a shame. Please enjoy the photos. I have to start the bidding at £450 because I have to pay ebay a 10% final value fee as well as other fees. It weighs a staggering 775g or 27.3oz. It stands on 3 cast feet and is huge and well proportioned with a diameter of 11 and 1/4 inches or 287mm.
