Brass Nut & Saddle Bridge Blank for Classical Guitar Universal Blanks 1/4" 6mm
This listing is for 1 Brass Nut and 1 Brass Saddle Bridge Blank For Classical Guitar. This is a generic universal blank set for various makes of classical guitar. You need to measure what you have to be certain of what you need. You need to carve. File and sand this material to make a functional nut and saddle. The saddle piece is 3.5" x 3/8" x 1/8" The nut is 2 1/8" x 3/8" x 1/4" If you feel your instrument uses a 6mm nut. These should be fine as 1/4" is a slightly larger dimension than 6mm. This is going to be easy work compared to an electric guitar and shouldn't require a great deal of experience and skill. Since the highest strings on a classical are considerably thicker than an electric guitar. You don't need any super precision nut files. Just use some hack saw blades and some sandpaper. I ... moreflip the blades over and use the non teeth side with some sandpaper and work the slots once they are deep enough. You probably aren't going to be doing a lot of string bending per say so just a simple trough will be good enough. Just carve a channel deep enough to keep the string from slipping out of the slot. You shouldn't even need to contour the nut blank unless you just wanted to. Your plastic nut is probably narrower at the top than the bottom but maybe not. That's just preference! Do what you want to. The saddle bridge piece should need very little attention. Really the reason I got started doing this work is because the saddle piece is generally higher than it needs to be. 3/8" Should be tall enough to maintain your original height with room to remove some material if you wanted to lower the action. Improved action even on a classical guitar will improve playability. Just slip the saddle into a bench vice and wipe it down with a flat file. I suggest creating a front raised edge so the strings can clear the rear of the saddle and rest on the front edge. This will leave you with 3/8" tall bass nut blanks! Or. Very close too it, which is still going to be plenty of brass for carving a nut for any 4 or 5 string electric bass guitar. But. Please measure for what you need. These blanks measure 2" x 3/16" x 3/4" These are BLANKS! You will need to shape the brass into a functional nut. Which would include carving string slots! Yes, that has been a problem! These blanks are a great alternative to a plastic lap steel nut. You will need to carve nut slots. Just use an existing nut as a string distance gauge. Rare Sage LL 486-3 Fly Rod with Blank Warranty Card Beautiful Excellent Cndition
This is a beautiful used Sage LL Fly Rod. Graphite III construction. Three piece. Eight and a half foot for four weight. Cork is barely soiled as this rod has only seen the water a handful of times. Seems I neglect it so it should be in the hands of someone who will give it water time. There are a some slight scratches to the reel seat end but these could be buffed out. Amazingly, the nickel silver is still pretty shiny. Maybe not as bright as the showroom days but still looks really nice. I have gone over the rod and cannot see any scratching or dings to the blank. There is barely any indication that the rods ferrules have ever come together as I always kept a good layer of wax on them. This has the split ring hook keeper as well. All wraps in great shape. No chunks out of the cork. The tube shows wear but is perfectly round. Cap fits perfectly ... moreand still has the rubber seal. And the most amazing part is that I never filled out the original warranty card so that comes with it as well. Up for auction is this very Rare and Unusual 1 Peso coin from Mexico. It is dated 1920 and has a eagle on the front but the other side is completely blank. Not worn but just unstamped. I believe this must be an error coin. It appears to have been cut or stamped with some kind of a tool such as a laser. The cut almost appears to be some type of Orential symbol but I have no idea what it is for sure. I am sure this must be a One of A Kind piece and therefore highly collectible. Many rod enthusiasts will tell you that the value of fishing collectibles depends on several factors including demand. Desirability and scarcity. Defects such as cracking and rust lessen the value of rods. Most of the later fiberglass models are fairly inexpensive except for those issued by Russ Peak! Taking all of this into account. It’s hard to find rods in pristine shape and it’s always a nice caveat to have your name on the rod you own…assuming you knew the maker, purchased a rod from someone with the same last name, or were lucky enough to inherit a fantastic custom rod. So. How often do you have the opportunity to purchase a blank from one of the greatest fly rod makers, at the pinacle of his career, hand picked by the maker, and customize the rod to your liking? There is no rod weight designation. The cork handle has not been glued in place, and the guides are all in great shape with no problems(as they've really never been used! No major nicks, scratches, or wear to either rod. The rod is inscribed as follows: RP 967 TC to 9’ PX500. 550 Printable Taiyo Yuden Blank CD-R Disks Box of Six 100-Disk Packages(of which one has been opened and only holds 50) I inherited these blank CD-R disks. My relative apparently purchased these items in 2005 or earlier. Likely on Ebay. I am listing them as used although in general they are like new. Five of the cake boxes have never been opened and still have the original shrink wrap seal around the bottom. One cake box has been opened and only holds about 50 disks. I did not want to take the 50 out of the package to count them. And then handle them or risk damaging them, but there are clearly about 50(see the photos) I will ship all of the disks in the original pasteboard box. The disks are white on top. I think because they are printable. Neither the disks nor the cake boxes have any label or any type of print(or etched or embossed text) ... morethat I can see. WHOLE CANE BLANK READY FOR REBUILD
Hi, Up for auction is this whole cane rod blank which has been stripped down and prepared. My Dad bought it intending on rebuilding the rod but hasn't got round to it. It is in three sections. Butt and middle are about 49 and a half inches, the tip section shorter at 35 and a half inches. The ferrules are all brass with visible tapered extended spigots. The cork handle is just under 20 inches long and has nice brass fittings. The butt fitting is threaded but has no plug. I have no idea where this rod originates or the maker but it does have two small brass pins near the bottom of the handle so maybe its a salmon rod or similar. The first two sections are as straight as I have seen on a whole cane rod but the tip does have slight droop. The ferrules fit nicely and with a bit of work I reckon would make a nice rod.
