Bait& Beer! Horlacher's Brewery in Allentown. Pa. combined two favorite American pastimes in this original 1946 advertising lithograph. The large, colorful poster touts Horlacher's Perfection Beer while providing a map and fishing guide for sport enthusiasts. Measuring 35x32. The poster was displayed in bait and tackle shops. It provides a full map of the U.S. identifying fish species, their range and localities, as well as documentation of record catches. Most importantly, it advertised Horlacher's"Nine Month Old Beer" which was"aged to perfection" in the"cold, clean and dark cellars" of the Horlacher Brewery in Allentown. Prior to Prohibition. Horlacher proudly marketed a"nine month old beer" that was aged for nine months, much longer than the 3-5 weeks standard for its competitors. ... moreWith the end of Prohibition, Horlacher Brewmaster Charles Lieberman re-created the"nine month old beer" and named it Perfection Beer. Selling an older pair of Simms Gore-tex Guide model waders size LK. This is a no frills wader but still quite servicable. They were stamped RENTAL on the inside when I bought them at the Denver Flyfishing Show. They may have been factory seconds. I sent them to Simms repair a few years ago to fix all the holes and leaks. They also replaced the shoulder straps. It cost about $100. I'm feeling a slight leak in the right knee now but it may be condensation. The waders are stained from use. I'm including a pair of gravel guards with these waders. Cabelas Gore-Tex jacket and bibs. Mens large. These have been used but are in good shape. And clean. Great amount of pockets, hood adjustment, neoprene cuffs with thumb holes, and zippered vent pockets. No holes in jacket or bibs. The only tare is easily repaired on the inner lining see pic#7.
