Looking for a way to take care of your own rods. For a hobby or to start a sideline business? Here’s a low-cost way to give it a try it out! My father had this when he passed to the great fishing lake in the sky. We don’t have a need for it and it’s taking up space so we’re passing it on to someone who will appreciate it. 1) Hand Rod Wrapper– This is the base you need to make or repair fishing rods. It has two tension devices that will allow you to do precision wrapping. I don’t know anything about them; you’ll have to figure it out. There’s lots of information about doing this on the internet. There is no manufacturer name on it. 2) 12 rolls(100 yard rolls) of rod building/repair thread. They retail for 2.95 each. All rolls may not have 100 yards but most appear to be new or near that long. 3) There are also 10/ 4ounce rolls of rod wrapping ... morethread. Some are still in wrapping. All seem to be full or almost full. They retail for 19.95 each. 4) Well over 100 metal rod guides and tips(variety of sizes) 5) 22 wheeled roller guides. These are really pricey on the internet. 6) 12 small bottles of Color-Kote Preserver No. 10A/ I don’t know anything about this. It’s probably outdated and not any good but I will include it. 7) 1 Box of“Plast-O-Bond” resin based cement for fiberglass and bamboo fishing poles in original box. 8) Two vintage/unused decals. One says“Lake Powell” and the other“Arizona” They are kind of retro and cool looking. 9) Two packages of fishing rod“Butt Wind. I think it is used to put cross wrap designs on the butt of fishing rods. It looks like one package does one rod. Three yards I think but I’m not sure. I think you might need a couple of other things before working on a rod(I didn't see anything that said glue. I assume you need that. Thanks for looking. Good luck bidding.

12 Fly Rod Handles and Reel Seats for Rod Building or Repair
These 12 fly rod handles were cut off of graphite rods. All have fully working reel seats that could be used for rod building and repairs. I added a ferrule to one I kept for myself to make an independent handle. There are probably other possibilities that I haven't thought of. Several seats are marked"White River. This auction is for 37 broken/damaged fishing rods. All of these rods have broken tips. There are spinning and casting rods. Various actions. Many of these are broken near the top and could simply be retipped and fished with. Some are broken further down near the handle and are good for parts only. Some of these rods have never been used and still have the original plastic on the handles and the Fuji tags still on the guides. Many of these rods retail new for $100 + and have very nice Fuji guides and reel seats. There are 37 rods total, you will receive exactly what is in the photos. The photos are each of 1/3 of the rods. The first photo is of 1/3 of the rods and the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th photos are close ups of those rods. Ten Bamboo fly rod tips. Bamboo fly rod. Rod building and repair
This is for a lot of vintage bamboo fly rod tips. There are ten tips total. They range from 32-1/2" to 36-1/2" long. They all have ferrules and tip tops except one with no tip top. This tip has a ferrule but no guides. All the rest appear to have all the guides on them. The two tips at the top of the photos have an issue. The light colored tip has a repair wrap about 4" from the tip. It is well done and almost invisible. The other one is the one with no guides and has a separation about 3" long in the cane about half way up. I don't know if it is separated or a piece of cane is missing. The other eight tips are good. They appear to be full length. There do not appear to be any tips that where broken at the tip top end. Possibly one may have been shortened at the ferrule end. Not sure. The two tips with the blue tape ... morearound them are a matching pair of tips. Some of These tips need some straightening. The finish is good on some and some the finish is worn.
