I also realized when it was time to deflate it that the yellow deflating tool was still factory attached to the pocket(see photo) and I couldn't deflate it without detaching it. 2 years old Simms g4 pro waders large long. 12-13 bootie size. One picture shows burn in fold out pouch. It happened from a hot rock flying out of the campfire. One picture shows tiny tear on right knee. It does not leak on the inside. These waders have been sent to Simms for repair and aqua sealed about 20 times inside the waders. I haven't done any brush whacking in these waders, and don't know why they sprung tiny leaks. Simms says it is inherit in the goretex fabric after time. I am tired of babying these waders, just to have them spring tiny leaks occasionally. When I say tiny leaks, I mean after fishing all day waist deep I would remove the waders and have nickel sized wet spots on my capilene leggings. A ton of life left in these waders. NEW in Box Patagonia Riverwalker Wading Boots- Size 13 STITCHED felt soles; MSRP $149.00 In my humble opinion. The Patagonia Riverwalkers are the finest wading boots on the market today- it is all about comfort and these HAVE IT! Here are a pair of simple straight-on traditional felt(stictched on and not glued) Riverwalker boots are light to begin with, but in the felt version their light weight is astounding. Each boot weighs on my postal scale a mere 1.7 pounds- compare that to your Korkers and Simms, or your old leather Hodgman's! Seriously, 1.7 lbs per boot for a size 13- really? Yes, really. And, step out of the water and they drain. QUICK! And so. Often, when buying wading boots you want to size up one to accomodate neoprene booties. That is precisely what I would recommend with these. While these boots are a size 13, I would recommend ... morethem for a guy with a street shoe size of 12 or 12.5 for layering flexibility. That said, if you wear a street shoe 13 you should be good with these, as well, if only using during the summer, if your waders or hippers have no excess neoprene bootie or you never intend to layer socks underneath. These boots are true to width and fit my more-than-average wide-fitting feet fine; however, I am a not a super-wide. just a hair wider than average, perhaps, in the fore-foot, below the toes. Another piece of helpful/important advice. My feet are precisely 11 1/8" from heel to top of big toe measuring from the bottom of the foot. My neoprene booties are just under 12" from heel to toe measuring on the bottoms. Size 13 is the size Riverwalker I wear(I wear a size 12 running shoe) This size(13) gives me some wiggle room for layering during the winter months. Some guys like no summer wiggle room and want a tight-fitting boot- not me. Please measure your feet before bidding and buy according to your preference. And. These one owner gravel guards come from a smoke free home. They were used for two seasons. Then I purchased and used waders with built in gravel guards on my new waders. Up for auction is a pre-owned 100% cotton Ex Officio light weight mesh travel vest which is especially useful in hot weather as the mesh allows the air to pass through. All 8 pockets have velcro closings(no zippers)On the left side of the vest there is one large one with two smaller underneath and on the right side are four same size pockets. There is also a pocket at chest level on one side. The buttons in the front have black elastic loop closings. These elastics are thinning and may need to be replaced with the same or something more to your liking. The vest would be great for anyone needing multi pockets to hold things- travelers. Complete with beautiful illustrations this set of books covers almost anything you want to know about the evolution of trout fishing. The species of trout, their physiology, habitats and behavior, the tools of trout fishing, skills involved in catching trout and strategies for catching trout. Each of the six books within the book is broken down ... moreinto chapters that give intricate detail into the subject under discussion.
