Up for bids is a very nice older wall Plaque of a Cut Throat Trout(Salmo Clarkit) advertising Weber Lifelike Fly Co. Stevens Point. Wisconsin. It is 27& 1/8 in. long by 9& 1/4 in. high. The cardboard like back board is 3/16 in. thick. It is in very nice used condition. There are a few dings on the edges, some under layer air bubbles, mostly along the lower side of the fish. The colors are bright, there is some crazing in the varnish. The eye is glass and has a tight crack. The back is impressed Made in Germany and The Wolf Co. Phila. This is an ultra-rare super-high quality. Aluminum chest fly box measuring 8” wide, 8” tall by 6” deep and better than any other chest fly box made today with an outside hinge but is anodized green. It has the standard 1” web straps for wearing on your chest. A friend of mine used it a few times. But it is in near-mint condition with no dings, scratches or signs of wear other than a few holes from flies being placed in the front tray foam. It has a small BLANK copper plate on the rear, which I assume is to have your name engraved on and a serial number stamped on it but NO name brand is anywhere to be found. I have no idea who the manufacturer is/was. I own three chest fly boxes by another well-known manufacturer and this box is WAY nicer in quality and looks to be machine fabricated so it is absolutely perfect in construction without the ... moreshoddy hand-made look familiar to competitive aluminum chest boxes out there. This beauty features(4) four storage trays total although only(3) three hold flies. There is an undivided wet fly/streamer tray in front and two divided dry fly trays behind that. One shallow and one deeper. Both divided trays have REMOVABLE dividers so you could set them up for whatever type of flies you like, but the coolest feature is the rear tray/storage area. The rear tray is set up with a sweet aluminum tippet holder that is designed to accommodate(4) four spools of tippet material that dispense out the side when the box is closed. It is even marked on the side of the box what size tippet! I will warn you that there is a CHANCE your preferred brand of tippet material MAY have a spool with a hole diameter that WON’T fit the spindle on the chest box’s tippet dispenser. This is because tippet manufacturers constantly redo their spools. What works in 2013 may not work in 2014. If this end up happening to you. Up for action today is a like new pair of Cabelas neoprene chest waders. The boot size is 12. I wear 11 but got the 12's so I could wear extra socks. I am 5'11 205 pounds and they fit me really good. These have no holes or leaks in them what so ever. I only took them in the water twice. There is a little dust on them but that can easily be wiped off or will come off when you get in the water. The boots have the felt bottoms for better traction on rocks. I gave well over 100 dollars for these new at Cabela's so this is a great deal for someone. LL Beans 50s Fly Box With 8 Flies
Nice 50s plastic fly box from LL Beans. It has eight original flies bought at Beans with the box. It has been stored away for years it was found by the original purchasers son after his passing. The box was made by Dewitt Plastics Div RPM industries Inc Auburn N.Y. The box is in mint condition. I don't believe it was ever used. This is a Classic Wheatley"Simaloy" large combination fly box with approximately 50 custom flies tied by a late Maryland master fly tyer. It has 70 stainless steel wet fly clips. And 10 compartments with separate lids. Box is in excellent vintage used condition. All compartments work smoothly, and clips are straight and tight. Box opens and closely smoothly and securely. Flies are in excellent condition; hooks are sharp with no corrosion. Box measures 6 in x 7-1/4 in open; 6 in x 3-5/8 in x 1-1/4 in closed.
