Google"Del Canty" for a history of this famous Flaming Gorge Reservoir fisherman who would go out for days in this tube and target huge brown trout. This tube has been used on and off since I purchased it. It is in good working condition. The inflation bag allows me to fill the tube in less than 5 minutes. Weight of the tube is about 3 pounds. Up for auction is a 9 Ft. Matrix Graphite Fly Rod. I got this at an auction and do not know anything about fly rods. I was told that it has only been used once or twice. It is a Graphite rod. The top part has 9 eyes and the bottom part has 2 eyes and a hook keeper just above the cork handle. The bottom part also has 4 Wt. 9' on it. Everything on this rod looks New and it is in EXCELLENT CONDITION AND SHAPE. I ship all my rods in a hard Sturdy Round Cardboard Tube with 2 Plastic end caps. VINTAGE SPORTSMAN'S GUIDE FLY FISHING; TROUT & SALMON FLIES POSTER
20 traditional trout flies and 4 salmon flies are depicted on this poster issued by Sportsman Cigarettes. 17" x 11" Very attractive and in very good condition but. In examining it more carefully, I noticed that along the left edge of the image there is a lighter strip and a partial darker one between the image proper and the margin(please see first photo) Not sure if this means that the poster is in fact a photocopy or whether the poster was just made that way. In any event, I've set a low start price(assuming a reproduction) and leave it up to the viewers to decide. Also, the small round spot at the top of the poster is part of the printing(not a stain) and there is a small tack hole in it. Shipping will be in a tube due to the relatively large size of the poster.

Up for sale is an Elkhorn fly rod. It is only slightly used as the only sign is slight wear on the butt end of rod. The rod is a Traveler 4 piece 8'0" 3/4 weight. The reel seat is a hard wood possibly cherry. The rod is in excellent shape as are the eyes with no signs of scratches or knicks on rod. It also comes with an Orvis traveling tube. The tube is somewhat faded with a couple of stains but those are just cosmetic as the tube is in great shape. The tube obviously did not originally come with the rod but that is how I received it. Simms G3 Guide Special Edition Stockingfoot waders, Medium Short, 9-11, PreOwned
Up for auction with no reserve is a pair of G3 Guide Special Edition Waders. Size Medium Short, with 9-11 Foot. The waders are previously owned and were my backup waders for 2 seasons and really weren't used much as you can tell from pictures. The waders show normal signs of wear as you would expect but have many days on the water left if you know anything about Simms waders. Made with Gore-tex Pro shell technology, these waders are a souped-up version of the popular G3's. The main features that make them different are the improved suspenders with ventilated padding for all-day comfort and D-loop on back for a landing net, only offered now on the pricey G4's. The wading belt is also a lot nicer than what comes standard on the G3's. The Simms camo on the handwarmer pocket and flip-out pouch is also a nice touch. Simms Guide Jacket Gortex -M (slightly used)
This jacket I decided was a necessity just after the torrential rains of 2013 had ceased. I'm not if sure if this jacket has been wet to be honest. I've worn it less than a handful of times and shows no real signs of wear. And it's goretex so it's tough as nails. This is a size M Jacket which fits me great. I just want to upsize to layer up more for the temps in the teens. This jacket has been worn for literally hours and not days worth of time. Fly Tying Thread in Custom Storage Container
This is a semi-custom storage container I use for storage of fly tying thread spools. It is a stock plastic container with a homebuilt wooden insert drilled for dowels. The spools are placed over the dowels. This arrangement makes a tidy easily accessible storage solution for thread spools. It has a capacity of 198 standard size spools. The dowels are not glued in place so that they can be removed as needed to allow storage of larger spools if desired. This box is used. But in serviceable condition. Also included are approximately 97 spools of tying thread. These are mostly Orvis and include various colors such as black, red, orange, blue, brown, black, and white. There are gold French tinsel spools, approximately 20, and approximately 5 silver spools. Please see the photo so you can see for yourself. These are nice heavy, almost cardboard, pages. 3 separate sections comprise this book. 1st section is the initial index from 1978 and has 59 pages. 1st supplement is from 1980 and 15 pages long. 2nd supplement is from 1983 and is also 15 pgs This book also shows use how to tie many of the flies. see photo) This book has so many different types of flys it seems exhaustive in its scope.
