The low profile swivel bases included in this auction are brand new. One rigger has the two piece power cable, the other has a long cable to direct connect to the battery. See pic. Little used CANNON"EASI-TROLL" DOWNRIGGER UNIT, still in very good overall condition for angling use, composed of hard, black resin body with black, reinforced& Cannon" imprinted spool equipped with woven, stainless steel wire line, controlled by black handled hand crank on right side, plus line counter, and solid fiberglass arm of 20" OAL with rotating cable pully at top having an articulating head for cable control, and with wire line rigged for attachment of various weight, planers, lure combinations for either fresh or salt water. A slip-fit base on bottom of the unit is for attachment to any of CANNONs proprietary base plates of course, and a Rod Holder has been added to the back of the unit on an alloy attachment.See Photos) Condition is quite functional still, with NO cracks, dings, dents, ... morebroken/ missing parts, or other"problems" that we can see. You will require only the correct CANNON base to be ready-to-go. Additionally. Though the wire cable looks fine, it probably needs to be run-out, checked visually, and cleaned before hard use we'd guess, after a season or two on the shelf. but that's about it! This auction is for the Cannon Downrigger mounting plate/ board pictured above with all items pictured- it is in great overall condition and will perform as intended. There may be a missing screw or wing nut in a couple places-look at pictures for every detail. Easily fixed at a home improvement store at minimal cost- a few bucks at most because they are stainless steel screws. The mount needs a cleaning-a little over spray of spray paint on the surface. And dirt in holes of the mount. A bit of elbow grease and 20 min. will square this away. It still looks good as is- there are no cracks in/on the mount- A very solid piece of fishing gear. in addition to the list of items below, there are 3 pedestal mounts on the top of the board. Cannon MiniMag electric downrigger
This is a solid working electric down rigger and it includes the elevated swivel base. The down rigger does not have any line so you will have to add new line. I took the line off because it was getting worn. I have saved the end so you can put it on your new line. I used it in fresh water. Sold my boat a month ago and buyer did not want the Cannon. You can reset the counter by simply loosening the screws and lifting up off the drive gear. It is really easy. Lower 48 only.
