Nice Lot Of Good Used Fishing Rod Parts Guides Tip-Tops Ferrules Hook Keepers
Everything here is used and was stripped off of various fishing rods. Everything is very usable. I counted about 65 assorted guides. 4 tip-tops, 3 hook keepers and 12 matching ferrules. Inside of the small plastic box is a tip-top, several snake guides and a matching ferrule from a fly rod. The insides of the ferrules may have some debris that will need to be reamed out. I don’t know the sizes of any and cannot say if there are any complete sets. Everything came from spinning, baitcasting and spincasting rods excep for the aforementioned fly rod parts. This is a vintage Hurricane trolling rod with rare black Tycoon Fin-Nor Miami roller guides. There are 4 Tycoon Fin-Nor roller guides total. And Tycoon Fin-Nor roller tip. The guides are in good condition with some rash inside the guides, but the rollers themselves are perfect. The Hurricane rod measures 6'6" in length. 30-50 LB test, wooden butt, stainless steel reel seat, stainless steel gimbal, cork foregrip, and nice rod wrapping. The entire rod is in very good condition with rare black Tycoon Fin-Nor Miami guides, flexcoat is nice, wrapping is good, and gimbal and reel seat are perfect. This is a Murray Brothers Big Game Trolling Rod. It is rated for 20 LB. And it has a decal underneath the flexcoat stating 20 LB. It is used, and in great condition with very minor wear from use. It has an AFTCO aluminum detachable UniButt, 5 AFTCO Roller Guides, and an AFTCO Roller Tip. The roller guides are in excellent condition and all the rollers roll cleanly. The rod measures 6'10" in length. The foregrip is foam, and in good condition. The flexcoat is clean, and the Murray Bros decal is perfect. This is an awesome rod in great condition. The guides are in very good condition. The Bill Boyd Custom rod was made in Ft.Lauderdale. Florida and measures 6'10" in length, 30-50 LB(my opinion only) and beautiful diamond rod wrapping. Up for grabs is a Penn 2180 2 piece bent butt 180# class offshore rod. This was a custom ordered rod direct from Penn. It is 8' overall. Has an Aftco 52 double roller at the base, two Aftco 42 single rollers, followed by two Aftco 32 single rollers, and tipped with an Aftco 28 roller tip. I tried to remove it but stopped. Don't have the correct tools on hand and did not want to damage anything. I did take the line guides apart and clean the rollers. Bearings and guides. There was some slight salt corrosion present. All cosmetic no harm to guides strength. R ollers roll freely! The wrapping securing two of guides is damaged. This is a vintage Fenwick Woodstream Fenglass 2 piece spinning rod. It is used and in good condition. It has 6 FUJI guides and Fuji tip. And are all in good condition. It has a Varmac reel seat and foam grips. The rod measures 7'0" in total length. I don't know which model the rod is exactly because the lettering on the rod has worn off.
