Item is a collection of 20 vintage Fishing Rod Tip Top Guides. Guides are from 1880s to 1920s. Sizes vary greatly. There are tips for saltwater. Freshwater, fly rod, baitcasting and some unknowns/ strange ones. Most are unmarked but there are 2 New On Card Adamant Tips. Darker Tip on upper row- 2nd from left is engraved Pat 8-3-15(probably from Perfection Guide Co. It is the only steel tip(magnetic) There are several agate/ onyx? tips and a couple of nonplated brass tips. Some have double loop mounting. Condition of all is VG to New On Card. We see no broken agate. Please see Pics for sizes and condition. Really nice early collection. We have been informed that several of these may be Edward vom Hofe tips.
