It is a 5 weight, 7-1/2 foot fly rod that is light on the action but tough enough to land most fish. The Sage rod has two stripping guides and seven snake guides. It features a dense soft cork grip and an aircraft aluminum billet reel seat with burl wood. I have used the rod twice and is very close to new. It shows very little wear. I tried to remove it but stopped. Don't have the correct tools on hand and did not want to damage anything. I did take the line guides apart and clean the rollers. Bearings and guides. There was some slight salt corrosion present. All cosmetic no harm to guides strength. R ollers roll freely! The wrapping securing two of guides is damaged.
