Vintage 8' Solid Glass 2 Section Sea Fishing Boat Rod- Minor Repair Required Minor ring repair required on second section first ring and a few marks on the reel housing but otherwise in fantastic condition. No makers marks anywhere but a good solid well made rod that fits together perfectly. The cork handle is in really good condition and apart from the few marks on the reel housing all the other stainless steel components are in excellent condition. The first ring on the second section is missing and the ring support is a little bit bent but should be easy enough to repair. On the whole i suspect this has not been used very much as the missing ring was probably damaged soon after purchase and never repaired- hence very little use. A really nice solid feel to this rod. St. Croix 1976 Vintage Expandable/Telescopic Fishing Rod Pole & Reel, for repair
I don't know much about fishing rods/reels- there is no line on this and I have not personally used this. Being sold as is and untested. The handle turns one way and it moves fairly easily. But not freely or smoothly. The pole extends easily and seems to hold in place. There is something inside that rattles when it is moved. And the button for the range finder is missing. I really have no idea what it would take to make this a good usable rod. It is dirty and shows age/use/wear. Most of our items are from estate sales so we do not know all the history/ usage of our listed items. Vintage St. Croix Fishing Rod No. 3030 (for repair)
This is a vintage St. Croix fishing rod No. 3030 that is in need of a little restoration. The fit between the two halves is nice and snug. The tip eyelet/guide is missing and one leg of the other eyelet/guide is disconnected. I will include the un-matching reel seats and I do not know if one of them is the original or not. Here is a vintage/antique fishing pole eyelet wrapper. It is mounted to the board for display only; it will be removed for shipping cost savings. The unit is made of mostly brass and shows some great patina. The free standing support is adjustable in height. The end support with the circular fitting at the top is broken at the base. It needs to be brazed or threaded into the hole. The thread winder shows some light rust. All other parts are in good useable or for display condition. There are two bottles of Weber Rodspar Varnish.
