◄█ Up for auction is a vintage 8' 2-piece split cane bamboo fly rod branded"Thompson" K21. It was made in Norway and is signed by the builder(H'arg å rd) and is numbered(101957) The top section is marked"13" in the same style of writing as the lower section but the guide wraps are a darker green. It features a cork handle. Copper butt cap and reel seat, Agate stripping guide, and both sections fit together smoothly with no gaps. This is a beautiful rod that would be suitable for use or display. ◄█ CONDITION: Good condition with a couple small issues. The sliding ring for the reel seat has a 50% split in it but still works fine(and is easily replaced) Secondly. There are two glue repairs on the upper section and two on the lower section(where the canes separated in the past) that were probably not bound tightly ... moreenough while the glue was setting so now you see a little glue in the seams. It is not unsightly and the action is still very good. No odors or mildew. FINALLY!
