Its conical shape and wrapped handles give it such a sleek retro look! It is in great condition with only light scratches. A tiny ding or two and some age to the fiber handle wrapping. Aside from these minor blemishes, this piece is spectacular! If any of you are familiar with Wagner copper. You will recognize this kettle's"Made in Germany" mark. It does not specifically say"Wagner"so. I cannot list it as such. I can state that this mark was used in the early to mid 1900's-per the"OldCopper" ... morewebsite. The kettle is watertight-no leaks. The handle is firmly attached. The lining has darkened a bit. But appears to be completely intact. There is no mineral build-up or exposed copper that I can see. Jonsered 90 with full wrap handle. Rebuild carburetor. Good runner. Usually starts on about the 3rd pull with a full choke. The top spark plug cover is missing and the air cleaner vent hood has a nut instead of the original knob. Currently has a 20 inch bar with roller nose. Has great spark but I am not sure on compression. When holding the starter rope it slowly drops so it may be low. I did not see scoring when looking at the piston through the muffler. The saw was missing the 2 muffler bolts so those non standard bolts were put on to keep it together. Inner screen and baffle is present in the muffler. Saw is being sold as is and it is complete. Antique Victorian 100% Acetate Umbrella Lucite Handle w/Silver Feligree Wrap
Let me say this about this about this antique umbrella. First. It's old, the tag reads 100% Acetate. While this was great when these were made, it didn't tend to hold up well if not stored inside and protected. Most all of these antique umbrellas will not hold up if used as you would use a umbrella you bought at wal-mart yesterday. While this one seems to be in great condition for it's age, I assure you, after several times of throwing it in the trunk of your car, using it when it rains and like most people, putting it back without letting it dry, you'll go to open it and it will shread into a 1'000 pieces. That's not just this one, it covers most all of them. They were made with the best waterproof material available then but even todays waterproof material tends to dry rot long before material that's not waterproof. ... moreThese are most often used for display now, not everyday use. I just don't want someone to buy this and later think they were cheated. None of the umbrellas that are pushing 75 to 100 years old are going to last long if they are used like the new ones, I'm just being honest. So, with that said, just look at this one if you display it in a umbrella stand. Simply beautiful handle with just a touch of silver on the wrap to make it stand out. I don't see any cracks or repairs in the old handle anywhere. You can see at the top of the umbrella where someone has either repaired the seam or used something to seal it, this was quiet common of umbrellas, the material was waterproof but not real strong to endure how tight these old ones stretches the material. In the pic of it opened, that's not streaks of color, even tho it looks cool, it's fade strips from where that part was exposed to the weather and the rest was wrapped and protected. It may come off, but I didn't try. Here is an unusual leather wrapped. Brown glass vintage bottle from an estate sale. We are guessing it is a wine bottle. This bottle is shaped like a teepee and it has a multi color leather wrap that is laced together like a shoe. There are leather stars attached on both sides of the bottle. It has a large brass handle that goes from top to bottom. This bottle measures 14” tall by 3 3/4” wide. It has it’s original cork, the top of the cork is broken off. There are no chips, cracks, or scratches to this bottle. The leather stars are curled up on the ends, and there are some wear marks to the eyelets. There are a few very small pin holes in the leather next to the eyelets. This collectible vintage leather wrapped bottle is in otherwise good condition. See photos. Heavy Retro Porcelain White ICE BUCKET Brass Lid Bamboo Wrap Handle 10" x 8.5"
Via a local estate we offer a Vintage Ice Bucket. It is a heavy piece weighing more than six pounds as is. Without any packaging. White in color with knobs made into the Bucket that the handle attaches to. The handle is wrapped to look Bamboo like and make it easy to grip. Free moving. The top is Brass or brass colored and is splotchy. Has patina spots on it. Measures 10" tall is 8.5" knob to knob across and is 5.75" inside across; 8.5" across the felt bottom. I see no chips or cracks. I do notice speckling of glaze on the outside bottom see pictures. Nice and clean inside. Lovely Retro looking piece. I believe it to be German but can't see any branding could be beneath the felt bottom. Crock like porcelain. Heavy!
