This poor old car looks like it has had a rough life. Some of the lettering has been rubbed off both sides. But it can be saved. All 4 stirrup steps are here. The metal frame is intact. All the ladders, brake gear and brake wheel are still present. It even has a nice set of all metal sprung trucks that could use some cleaning. A paint/decal job. Lionel Northern Pacific Bay Window Caboose 6-9268 Illuminated built 1-77 Box
Here is the STUNNING Northern Pacific Railway Bay Window Caboose. Black and Gold, 6-9268, Illuminated, with it's original box. I test ran it for several loops with the NP GP-9s just to see how incredibly beautiful this set was many years ago. I put the Geeps back on the shelf. But didn't have room for the caboose, so it has been under the table. Time to clear out the storage area. It has the metal tracks. Pickup roller for the light, smokestack installed(probably help keep the roof super clean from any rubs. I did find one rub/smudge on one decal close to the roof. That was it! The box is the original box. With all the tabs. The dust is free! The car was built in 1-77. About the same time as the geeps were. Enjoy this great gold/black color NP Bay Window Caboose.

VINTAGE NORTHERN PACIFIC R.R./BAY STATE AXE HEAD
I have a Northern Pacific Railroad axe head. It is marked NPR on one side and on the other side it is marked Bay State. It weighs 4 1/2 pounds. It is 7 1/2' long. 3 1/4' wide at the butt and 4 3/4' wide at the widest edge. It has some dents and nicks from wear but is still a nice piece. I think these show in the pictures.
