Up for sale is a Shimano Clarus spinning rod It is a 6'6 Medium-Extra Fast tip.which means it's just a little"stiffer" than a Medium-Fast rod. Has plenty of backbone on hooksets. This rod is in good used condition. The foregrip has been removed. It has also been completley re-tied with extra guides added(9 guides plus the tip) That amount of work alone is worth over $60. There are going to be a few rough spots along the blank where the original guides were removed, I did my best to clean them up without scratching the blank. Fly rod building lot reel seats, cork grips, end caps, and Tich guides
Up for auction is a lot of fly rod building materials. The assortment comes with everything pictured:two cork grips recessed to accept the included reel seats-two rosewood burl reel seat(seconds) I rate the reel seats as seconds because they have a couple of scratches that can be sanded out and restained. I sanded the one already.11 Tich snake guides. I think they are 2.3,and 4 sizes-end caps for the reel seatsIt is a great assortment for craft rod builders looking for a good deal. I listed the items as used, but they have never been mounted on a rod ever. I have built 2-9 weight rods with the cork and seats.

Vintage Rare wood ocean 1 pc. fishing rod large double eyelet guides unknown 88"
Very neat older rod appears to be ocean rod or sturgeon rod maybe. The 5 large guides go from 1" to 5/8" tall. With double rings in each guide glass or lucite not sure what material, all in good condition. The end guide looks to be same material no chips but has couple lines not sure if cracks or just finish. The rod is just under 89" long the finish has nicks looks like lacquer not sure. The rod has 6 sides not sure what kind of wood. Between the tip and the last guide the lacquer has faded the most. Still very cool old piece of fishing history. The shipping will be according to actual cost since it will be oversized at 89 inches plus packing. This is a 1 piece rod.

The pieces are bowed, one tip is missing.Looks like all guides are present. The butt section is 42" long, The tips are 41.5" long each. You are bidding on a VINTAGE GARCIA CONOLON MODEL 2554 T. 10’ FAST TAPER MEDIUM ACTION SURF FISHING ROD. This rod is designed for 15 TO 30 pound line and 2 to 5 ounce lures. It is a two piece rod that fits together nicely with the metal ferrule connection. It is suppose to have 8 guides total, but all but two are broken or bent, so it does need new guides. Other than the guide problem, everything else seems to be o.k. other than a few marks and some stain on the cork handle. All in all, the finish on this rod is decent and I would say does not need to be redone, just the guides need replacing. Pictures are part of the description. lot of St. Croix rod tips, guides, 21" to 60" SCIII and a few exras SCII 14"-28"
Listing is for a lot of broken rod parts that are good for parts/repair or maybe making some ice rods from. These were purchased a while ago with the very same intent. But I do not have time to make rods. I'd rather tie flies so these are just taking up space. Please refer to pics for size and types. The first few pic(1-4) depicts all SCIII st croix avid blanks that range from 21-60" in length. The pics 5-9 depict mainly SCII blanks that range from 14-28" and the few on the right are some blanks striped of their guides. I thought somebody may want the blank portion as I was just going to toss it. There are 6 stripped blanks where 4 are SCIII blanks, one is an older croix elite(green SCIII) blank, and the last one is a gloomis NRX blank. The last pic depicts the various groups of SCIII, Bare blanks, and SCII. Again note this ... morelisting is for rod parts where there are a ton of guides here. Great hobby to do before the fishing season kicks off. I'm unsure as to how much shipping will be. But I believe 20 USD should cover it as it is a big package and I need to find a tube to fit it all. I measured the ferrules using a somewhat crude drill bit gauge for the males. And a caliper for the inner diameter of the females. The tip is regular and not the red agate version. This is a nice one with minimal use as indicated by the nice condition. Most of the copper color paint is intact with some but minimal overall scuffing. Any copper color paint loss is considered minimal. Note the clean reel seat as there is little if any tarnish. The tip shows some wear and light tarnish as seen. Note that some of the round cork pieces are slightly loose and have dried over the years. The BAG is in good overall condition as there is general overall use and aging. Three ties are intact although a few are shortened. No serious holes of tears were found. Early"CUSTOM" FIBERGLASS BIG GAME FISH ROD of approx. 72" OAL, probably dating to back in the late 1960s/70s era and still in very good overall condition for display or angling use, consisting of a solid U.S. made fiberglass Rod with clear-coat exterior finish, out-fitted with four(4) early style, chromed brass roller& ring guides, all solidly affixed with"root beer" color nylon wraps with gold accents, and with HD fiberglass Rod running right thru the old school fore grip(HD cord-wrapped over the cork-rings) and thru the classic style, chromed brass reel seat, and directly into the Oak hardwood butt section with oldie rubber"snub" base as shown. Vintage Custom Big Game Rod w/ Aluminum Tycoon Fin-Nor Miami Roller Guides RARE
This is a Rare Vintage find from a Key West. Florida estate sale. This is the second of two identical rods I acquired. The first rod I sold on eBay already. It is a Vintage Heavy Big Game Trolling Rod that was custom built by Beach Bait& Tackle Shop in Ft. Lauderdale. Florida. The rod has 5 Vintage Tycoon Fin-Nor Miami Aluminum Roller Guides. The rod is in very good condition considering its age. The Tycoon Fin-Nor Guides are in very good condition and numbered underneath in sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The Roller Top Guide is an AFTCO size 26. The guides are all silver in color, and the rollers all roll cleanly. This Big Game rod is 6'11" in length. And has an Aluminum Butt with Gimbal, and Aluminum Reel Seat. I believe the Aluminum Butt is detachable, but I am not sure. It looks like it is, but I cannot remove it, and I don't ... morewant to force it. The foregrip is, i believe, cork and covered with a fuzzy blue material. There is a small chipping section on the top of this foregrip near the reel seat, allowing me to see, what I believe to be cork underneath. Also, a small chipping section of foregrip on the top near where the rod begins. The flexcoat is in good condition. I would rate this rod in the 80- 130 LB class. There is vintage wear throughout from the years. Very nice and Rare find in this condition. I have described this rod to the best of my ability. Please look at all photos and email with questions. SABRE STROKER BIG GAME ROD - ALL AFTCO ROLLER GUIDES - TAKE DOWN HANDLE - BEAUTY
I got this at an estate sale and just passing it along. The rod is used but looks to have been hardly fished as there is no rash at all. Guaranteed. Even the Aftco roller guides look new. The total length of the rod is 7' 4" with the handle section at 20" 7 total Roller guides including the tip and there are no issues with either the guides or wraps. I tried to locate the poundage etc but none are on the rod. I asked the gentleman at the sale about the rod and he told me that it was given as a present several years ago and has since been in the garage. He thought it was rated for 80-150 pound line but was sort of unsure. Either way it's a beauty and if not 100% happy then send it back for a full refund. Thanks for looking and tight lines to all.
