VINTAGE POST WWII SPLIT BAMBOO FLY/SPIN FISHING ROD& REEL KIT This auction is for a vintage five piece Post WW II split bamboo fly and spinning rod combination kit with original wooden storage box and a Kassnar fly reel with box. The kit includes eight assorted hand tied flies. Silk gut leader material, snelled hooks, unique bobber and a leader holder all in their original packaging. The rod is in excellent condition and I do not believe it has ever been used. The rod can be assembled into a three piece 8’ fly rod or a two piece 5.6’ spinning rod. All sections measure 32 ½” one spare utility tip section is 21” I would estimate the fly line weight to be a four-five. The 6” cork handle and screw up lock reel seat are in excellent condition There are two eye guides on the rod mid section and each tip section. There is a stripper guide. ... moreWhich has been professionally rewrapped, and hook keeper on the bottom section. The rod fits together perfectly when assembled and has the distinct“pop” sound when pulled apart. All of the sections are straight. The wooden storage box is also in great condition. VINTAGE RARE POST WWII 6 IN 1 GRAMPUS FLY/CASTING SPLIT BAMBOO FISHING ROD KIT This auction is for a vintage rare six piece Grampus Kiraku& Co. six in one fly. Casting, trolling and still fishing split bamboo fly rod with original Grampus storage box/clothe and many extra’s. The rod is in excellent condition and I do not believe it has ever been used. The rod can be used as a three piece eight’ fly rod; a 6 ½’ fly rod; a 8’ still fishing rod; a 6 ½’ light trolling rod; 5 1/2’ casting rod and a one piece casting rod. See the Grampus illustration pamphlet that is included. The rod uses are made possible by the reducing ferrule(see pictures) I would estimate the fly line weight at a 3-4. The kit also includes leader/gut material. Scissors, three unique bobbers, leader holder, 21 hand tied flies and a plastic container of hooks. ... moreThe wooden box is marked Grampus. There is one end section missing on the box(see picture but in good overall shape. The 6” cork handle is in great condition. The screw up lock reel seat has some very light tarnish due to the fact the rod has been stored for over 60 years. It will not affect its use. There are two snake eye guides on the fly rod mid section. Three on fly rod tip sections and three on the casting tip section. There is a stripper guide and hook keeper on the bottom section. The rod fits together perfectly when assembled, has the distinct pop sound when removed and is straight. The honey colored bamboo cane and varnish finish are their original condition and are spectacular! This would be an awesome versatile rod that could be used under a variety of fishing scenarios. It will also be a great addition to any collection with all of the extras included! You would be hard pressed to find a Grampus rod in better condition. Up for sale is my White Bear flyrod I've owned this rod for 25 years. It's been a display piece in my office. The rod measures about 8' when assembled. The box includes three different tips for a total of 5 rod pieces. The kit also has 22 flies that came with the original kit as well as a package of hooks that were made in Japan. The interior of the case is in pretty good shape. The outside of the case shows wear from age. As you can see in the pictures one of the latches is missing. The hinges work fine. This is a two piece. 10' Split Cane Carp Rod in the style of a Walker Mk 1V. These kits were actually supplied by B.James& Sons, some applied the transfer, others did not bother. The cane and handle are in excellent condition and the ferrule fits well but there is that crack to the female part of the joint. It looks as though it may have been closed in a door jam for it to have split in this manner. The buyer should therefore be aware that these may need replacing before use. 32 Ford Street Rod 1/8 scale model kit complete vintage Monogram
A like new. Complete, 1/8 scale model of a 1932 Ford Street Rod. According to date on box, model is from 1977. This model has been in my family since new and has been stored in the top of a closet in a smoke free home. The seal on box has been broke, otherwise model is completely original and untouched. Box shows signs of age and wear. Pieces and parts are still in factory plastic and wrapped in factory brown paper. Tires say Goodyear and are rubber, still soft and pliable. When taking the pictures attached, I am certain it was the first time the box had been went through. The paper covering the body of the car clearly has never been unwrapped- I left as is.
