Please do not have false expections of the box condition, as it looks good for displaying it still JMHO but it is not perfect either this kit is one of those that can also used just for the parts in it for other models as it has kitbashing potential for other model projects you are buying 1 kit only 1:24 Model Kit in a less then perfect sealed Box Box is less then perfect. It has shelfwear flaws imperfections dents but still displayable condition by my standards. This is a model kit thin cardboard box and the boxes do tend to have flaws on them after many different owners over a period of time and when they get as older as this still factory sealed unbuilt kit is. Perfect boxes on older kits like this 1 are next to impossible to find anywhere! Lets get real about conditions of a model kit even new kits shipped from the factory today will have flaws on them. So do not make assumptions HTF these kits that are unbuilt& still in a factory sealed box Box is not mint or perfect. MINT VINTAGE (ORVIS / ORVIS KIT ?) SPLIT BAMBOO 9 1/2 FOOT 4-PIECE FLY ROD
Item is a pristine vintage pre-owned example of a better quality split bamboo(impregnated? 9 1/2 foot 4-piece fly rod(Orvis/ or Orvis kit rod possibly-Orvis reel seat? It is being sold as pre-owned. But it appears to have seen little or no use- perhaps it is nos. The rod appears to be unmarked, other than having the number 3626 marked on all four pieces.and it is likely a custom rod. It is in a green cloth storage sock with an aluminum storage tube. The only thing that I can find wrong with this rod is there there is a quide missing on one of the tips.
