HUGE LOT OF ST. CROIX ROD PARTS! WARRANTY RETURNS FOR PARTS AND REPAIR! Up for auction is a very large lot of St. Croix rod parts that have been turned into the factory for warranty replacement. All the sections in this lot are broken or damaged in some way. There is a nice mix of spin/cast models in this lot. Any and all warranty coverage for these sections is voided. This is denoted on the rod by the process of scrapping the label/logo off the rod itself. This removes the rod label but leaves the butt section of the rod intact. There is a huge amount of components that can be harvested from these pieces for use in repairs and new rod construction. Lots and lots of guides. Tip-tops, and graphite. This is a very valuable lot for the avid rod builder and this is by far the most cost effective way to build a stock of components. Vintage Hurricane IGFA 30U Big Game Fishing Rod w/ AFTCO UniButt & Roller Guides
This is a vintage Hurricane IGFA 30U Big Game Rod. It is used and in good condition. It is rated for 30 LB test. 6'10" in length, AFTCO Aluminum UniButt, 5 AFTCO Roller Guides, and a Stuart Roller Top. It has a foregrip that looks like the same type of wrap a tennis racket has. The guides all line up nice and straight, the detachable aluminum AFTCO Rod butt comes apart easily, and the flexcoat doesn't look too bad. There is wear throughout from vintage age and use, saltwater rash on the guides, and some scratches and dings on the unibutt. I have described this rod to the best of my ability. Penn Slammer 6' 6" Rod. 20-50lb line. SL2050CR66. Used several times. Roller guides roll well. Unsure of how smooth they are supposed to be. But they do roll well. Roller guides only on rod tip and closest to the reel. See pics. Very stout rod for deep sea fishing. There is light corrosion where the reel affixes to the rod. And what looks like a dozen or so dots of paint splatter. This was in my father's garage for a while. So I wouldn't doubt it's paint splatter. This is a Vintage C. Farlow& Co. of London Bamboo Fly Rod. This is the Brunswick Model and is a 3 piece 2 tip with a length of 8.5 feet. The rod has been refinished and is in great shape. This could use a 6 weight line. It has the vintage casting style guides. Agate tip tops and the ferrules look to be brass. The reelseat and grip are all 1 piece with sliding band. All of the decals and writing are legible and in perfect shape. The butt cap is removable to add a fighting grip. The rod comes with original Farlow sock with snaps and ties and a metal tube. VINTAGE K RANKIN BAMBOO FLY/SALMON ROD-BELFAST-3/1-CASTING GUIDES-BRASS FERRULES
This is a Vintage K. Rankin Bamboo Fly/Salmon Rod. The rod was made in Belfast. Northern Ireland. The rod has a name of"Shelga" It is a 3 piece rod with 1 tip. It has casting style guides and has a length of 10 feet. It is missing the stripper guide and 1 guide on the tip is messed up and need to be replaced. The ferrules are brass and fit nicely. The reelseat is like those of Hardy and a downlocking style. The cork grip is 8.5" long and the but cap can come off to a fighting grip. The varnish is fair and there are some intermediate windings that need to be redone. The tip top is an agate/glass guide. The tip is also short by.75" by design. Murray Bros 30 LB Fishing Rod w/ Tycoon Fin-Nor Miami Guides & AFTCO UniButt
This is a vintage Murray Bros Big Game Fishing Rod. It is used. In very good condition, and rated for 30 LB class. It comes with 5 vintage Tycoon Fin-Nor Miami Roller Guides. The first tycoon fin-nor guide has a split in separation on the first guide foot. It is attached to the rod fine, but split on the plastic just before the roller(see photo) The other roller guides are fine, but have some rash. The roller top is an AFTCO gold roller tip. There is saltwater rash on this tip also. The foregrip is a fuzzy material that appears to be attached to cork. This fuzzy foregrip is in good condition with the exception of a couple very small spots missing fuzzy material and you can see the cork underneath. This is very minor and barely noticeable. The butt is an AFTCO Aluminum UniButt with gimble. I can't get the unibutt apart from rod and don't ... morewant to force it. Probably needs some lubing to get it separated. The unibutt ring unscrews and tightens with no problems. The flexcoat on the rod is in good condition, and was personalized to a"Bill Aldrich" which is inscribed in gold lettering on the blank. Vintage Fenwick 630 Fishing Rod 30 LB Class w/ AFTCO Roller Guides & Butt USA
This is a Fenwick model 630 30 LB class conventional Big game rod. It is used and in very good condition. The rod 6 feet 9" in length. Has 6 AFTCO Roller guides, AFTCO Roller top, foam foregrip, Aluminum AFTCO butt with gimbal, and Varmac RS2 reel seat(or maybe looks like RS20, can't tell) The aluminum AFTCO butt and Varmac reel seat is in excellent condition. AFTCO guides are nice with some rash(all rollers roll fine. Guide#3 is missing 1 screw, but still functions fine) Foam foregrip is in very good condition. This is a vintage Penn International 2920 ALS Tuna Stick conventional rod. It is rated 12-20 LB test. 6' ft in length, 7 AFTCO Low Profile Roller Guides, AFTCO Low Profile Roller Tip, foam foregrip, Penn Reels Aluminum reel seat, aluminum gimbal, and slick butt. This rod is in very good condition and has very light wear from little use. The low profile AFTCO guides and roller top are in great condition, the foam foregrip is in excellent, near perfect condition, slick butt and reel seat are excellent condition also. Here is a nice vintage custom built rod by renounced rod builder Fred Heide of West Palm Beach Florida. Although Mr. Heide has passed and the Co. Still builds superior fishing rods I believe this rod is of the Fred Heide era. It features Fin Nor Roller guides and a 2 PC aluminum gimbal butt(the bottom butt piece is stuck at this time.I applied oil so it should come loose) In the past I did have a guide repl and all guides re- wrapped and the blue marble at the grip was added by my rod builder. Up for bid is a Conventional rod. I have little info on this rod other than it has two Aftco Roller guides and still seems to have plenty of fishing life in it. The rod seems to have a cork type of handle it has a total of 5 guides including the rollers one on the tip and one closest to where you would place your reel, it has no rod seat allowing you to place the reel where it feels most comfortable to you. as for max weight im not sure it does not say i can tell you that it is very hard to bend im 6ft tall 210 lbs and its very hard for me to bend, its a thick rod not sure what it is made out of. its a very tuff rod i can't imagine using it other than for very big fish.Maybe tuna guides appear to be stainless steel. the rod measures 6ft 6 inches any questions please send me a message thank you. Custom 5.5' Trolling Rod 80lbs All AFTCO Rollers Guides Fishing saltwater pole
Custom Trolling Rod by L.A. Booker Fresh from a local estate. This big game trolling rod is in very good condition with only some light marks. No corossion, no weqr on foam handle, only very light stains. This rod has a label that reads custom made by"L.A. Booker" but has no brand name or model number so I can't be certain of its characteristics. All the rollers are marked AFTCO and all roll smoothly. It measures 5 feet 4.5 inches(64.5 inches) and compares favorably to rods rated at 80+ pounds. I don't know much about trolling rods so have a good look at the photos!

3 pc. BillyStix Travel Casting Rod w/ Spiral Guides
The rod is built on high end Batson travel blank with split cork grips. Fuji blank through reel seat and Fuji Titanium guides. I built this rod for salt water, so the components are corrosion resistant and tough, yet extremely light weight. I think this rod weighs in under 6 oz. The action is Medium Light, and the length assembled is 7 feet. It will throw anything from weightless DOA shrimp to Super Spooks with no problem and the spiral wrap guides really help turning big fish. I carried this rod on the plane for on redfish trips to South Texas and Louisiana- super convenient for the traveling angler. I would say this rod performs like St. Croix Tidemaster TIC7MLF3 medium light travel rods. The rod does have a small label with my name, but any rod smith will be able to remove this sticker for a small fee. Up for bid is an excellent Vintage Lamiglas 8' Medium spinning rod 1/2-1oz and 6-12# line. It has 7 guides including the tip top. It is built with period original parts. Including a gold varmac reel seat, Featherweight shock ring, and gold Perfection, or Varmac guides. The guides are new old stock, and the reel seat was originally on the rod when I got the rod in to finish. I think someone bought the rod, installed the reel seat and some low quality cork, and then put it away. I got the rod, put on new Select grade cork grips, vintage guides. The rods model number was covered with the foregrip, but I can look it up in my catalog for you if need be. The rod feels looks awesome.
