Vintage 5 1/2' 2 PC BAMBOO BOAT ROD - RED AGATE GUIDES AND TIP.
This rod is exactly as we found it. No mfgs name or identifying marks. Wood is in fine condition with no damage and rod is straight when assembled. No threading left. The original red agate guides are wired and taped to the rod with an old wire leader so they wouldn't get lost. Large red agate tip. Would handle with some etching. A very nice collectible or fishable rod when cleaned up and refinished.

I love this one for a frog rod. 7' 0" Heavy Power X-Fast Action with a trigger grip Soft Touch reel seat and P-Tec foam split grip Handle Super-light carbon fiber blank construction that compares favorably to 85 million modulus graphite. 11 Pacific Bay stainless ... moremicro guides with Hialoy inserts plus the tip. 3/8- 1 1/2 ounce lure rating 12- 30 pound test line rating. Weighs just 122 grams. Or about 4.3 ounces. Excellent usable condition. Shows some signs of use. Storage, and boat rash. I am the second owner. There is a scratch on the black trim band at the hook keeper. It looks like the 1st and 2nd guides are starting to loosen, a little. See photos 9 and 10. The grips and reel seat look almost new. I can't get the Albright knot to go through the guides since I'm using braid with a direct fluorocarbon leader for most of my rigs. And my almost 50 year old eyes can't see to thread them either. I'm going to replace with an exact duplicate with regular guides, or spend about $100 replacing the micros with regular guides. This rod is great for fishing Frogs. Carolina rigs, light Alabama/ Umbrella rigs. Swim Baits, and flipping/ pitching Jigs, or big worms in tight cover. Shipping is expensive. So purchase 2 or more and save! 65 Good Used Fishing Rod Line Guides And Tip-Tops-Mostly Light/Med Spinning
All are used and all appear to be in very good. Usable condition. Some are still connected to bit of rods. Loose ones have light debris from the rod they were removed from. Shouldn’t be a big deal to clean them up for re-use. I counted 50 guides and about 17 tip-tops. Most all of the guides have ceramic inserts. There is even one snake guide in the lot. I threw in a few extra in case I overlooked a bad one or two. About 1/3 or so of the tip-tops are new. See Photos. I start each and every auction at $1. So don't let that be a concern. The Ocean rod needs to have the handle set it is spinning around the shaft and its missing the cap on the front of the handle. Other then that it's ready to fish. Because of the repairs needed I'm selling it all for parts or repair. The section are in overall good shape. Mitchell 302 reel is not included! My sister would kill me. She loves that reel. I just wanted to show it sits well and what size reel works. This would be a great setup for right out here in Puget Sound. Please look at the pictures closely.
