Lightly used Abu Garcia Orra SX baitcasting reel. Purchased this past spring and used several times throughout the season and shows light wear but still in great condition. I scratched in my initials on the bottom of the reel. Out of sight once it's mounted(see the pic) 8 bearings and it is very smooth and casts great. Overall the reel works perfectly. Up for bid is a vintage Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Strike King reel. I got it from an estate sale. I haven't cleaned it up and appear's to have been oiled recently. It is in good condition with sign's of normal use. Everything work's good on it and is as smooth as new. It cast great, the drag is super smooth, and the bait break work's good. It has Strike King on the handle and the number on the cleet is 730601. This is a rarer Abu Garcia that would make a nice edition to any collection or ready to be used fishing. Hello you are bidding on a lot of two different Abu Ambassaduer baitcasting reels. Both the reel work fine but both are missing end cap for the middle of the handle and one may not have the correct screw(the small handled reel) The small handle reel. The handle wobbles and is not on tight so it may not be the correct screw. Both reels are used and have wear on them, both are made in Sweden and I they are also accompanied with a small box with some parts, I am not sure if they go to the reels but I am including it. ABU Ambassadeur 8500 Reel
The Ambassadeur 8500 was produced for about three years beginning in 1972-73. It is a heavy saltwater type reel which quickly morphed into the 8600(clicker added) and then into the Ambassadeur 12. One of the IGFA reels. Since it was produced for such a short time. The 8500 is fairly rare, especially in black. The 8500 has no brake drum and is used for trolling rather than casting. This reel is mechanically in very good condition. There is minor loss of paint on the sideplates and handle. The handle is counterbalanced and has a torpedo grip. The production number on the foot is 740600(June. 1974) There is some oxidation on the foot and cross pieces. Take a close look at the pictures for an accurate description of the condition. ABU Ambassadeur 5500C reel – gunmetal side plates – excellent plus - near mint
A very near mint Ambassadeur 5500C with case. Parts, oil tube, wrench and box. Beautiful gun metal/blue side plates. I can find only one tiny mark on the bottom of the left side plate- its very small and superficial- the rest is dust. One box lid is taped and the other slightly torn but otherwise fairly nice. Case is brittle and shows some evidence of water damage. Excellent mechanical condition. Serial number 740402. I guarantee my items to be as advertised- no surprises. Ships Insured. Thanks.
