I found an old small rusty tackle box under a trailer I'm remodeling. I'm not a huge fisherwoman so I am just calling them what as I see them(and some are marked. Thank goodness! Old Heddon wooden gray mouse Crazy Crawler. Has leather tail, has a red dot and some barely readable writing on the bottom, rusty, lots of wear to the finish. Heddon Baby Zara(red head) plastic. Pretty good shape, could be cleaned better, hooks have rust. Heddon Tiny Lucky 13. I believe is plastic, needs cleaned, metal has rust including hooks. Red head with yellow body. Plastic jointed Creek Chub Pikie. 3 big old hooks, needs cleaned better, has scrapes and rust on hooks. Wooden Creek Chub Pikie. Simply marked PIKIE on body, also jointed with glass eyes. paint has long crackling lines(i'd call this crazing in ceramics) has a small gouge, metal and hooks ... morehave rust. 2 big hooks. Plastic LUCKY LOUIE with blues yellow and some red. In fair shape, might clean up better, no hooks or metal with it Bigger plastic LUCKY LOUIE also says MADE IN U.SA. mostly yellow body. Red eyes, two hooks, one hooked on to the other with some string. Needs cleaned better and has paint wear, hooks are rusty. Two little painted cork lures? or flies? One is gray one is red, they have what looks like hair and a feather around the hooks which are horribly rusty and the rust has gotten into the hair/feather configuration. the red one has a lot of paint wear where you can see the cork. A greenish with yellow underbody SPIN HULA DANCER(Fred Arbogast? unsure of material. In pretty good shape, metal has some rust There are two things with reddish orange beads(similar to a wedding ring? and a long thing with a spinning thing that resembles a helicopter rotor with feathers on the hook with one red bead. rusty hook. Offered for auction is a vintage Bill Minser 5” long Fishing Lure in original box. It is a Lucky Louie Pearl Pink plug. The lure has been used but the colors are still sharp. Nothing catches the eye(or the fish) better than the boldly colored Pearl Pink. The bottom is marked Minser followed by a patent number. The top is marked Lucky Louie in faded letters. There are fish hook scrapes as expected for a vintage used lure as seen in the attachments. Both hooks look like new. The box has just enough dings and wear to identify it as vintage. So please do ask questions if you have any. 4 wood fishing lures and 1 plastic? and 1 roll of Sea Island cotton- Moss back line( on card) I'll describe each one- some aren't signed. Condition is all used- some cracks in paint- some oxidation- lots of dirt! sorry)The glass eyes look like tiny eyes in a glass bubble( sort of) All the hooks are inset in the wood. No idea if any are rare. Literally right out of an estate, I didn't clean them up before photograph( or after! 1 cardboard card of green fishing line- Made of First Quality Sea Island cotton 50 feet No 1 Waterproof Twisted cotton line. Quality First and a picture of a fish jumping up to bite a hook. Still fastened on original cardboard- not sure if it is all there though. 1 Jointed wooden lure. There is a metal ... morescoop in the front signed Heddon's Dowagiac. Glass eyes which are yellow with black dot inside clear bubble. There are 2 hooks hanging from the belly. Each have 3 barbs. Metal dot on the nose, metal loop in the front for tying on line and metal on the hind end. Painted mustard yellow with moss green back with yellow circles with black dots in the center. Red paint around the eyes. Measures about 4 3/4 inches long. 1 long solid lure. Cream color with red head. same glass eyes as above. 2 large hooks with 3 barbs on each. The one has a large metal mouth, part of which is inset in the wood and the other is like a shovel fastened with 2 screws on the top of the nose. The hind end has a metal plug. I find no signature/ maker. Loop in the front for line. This measures 6 inches long and is about a thick as a big cigar 1 wood lure signed in red Lucky Louie on one side and Minser Pat 2236353 on the other. This one is painted yellow with silver- made to look like fish scales. These glass are different.
