Bait color pattern is shiner scale. Paint is sweet. There are a few very light rubs. An old bait that presents very extremely well. This is the early runt that measures a little longer. On the belly is stenciled in black"HEDDON RIVER-RUNT SPOOK FLOATER" Bait sports 2 piece or"flap" hook hangers. This early bait also has the more rare narrow diving lip. All hardware is present and intact. Hooks have light corrosion. Eyes are black on gold. Brush box has light edge/corner wear and is dirty. Both box top and bottom have darkened with age and have some staining. Both are straight and solid with no corner tears. On the end of the box lid is stamped"9409P River Runt" See photo for condition. A nice combo and rare model in very good shape. There won't be an example like this anytime soon. Nice piece. Please look over these 2 old Carter Dunk's wood wooden fishing lures. I have had these 2 ole boys in my collection for a long- long time. Because I believe they are super cool for many reasons. Both have all original clean and sparkly hardware. Both have been used but likely in some attic because of better age& better condition as I found them. The one with NO EYE measures 3 inches. This one is known as"OLE BLACK JOE. It retains its chrome Butt Pin. it also has the old fashioned tie line addition. MY Opinion is that this is the sweetest of the two. Antique Falls City tackle box filled with vintage fishing items. Contains a Shakespeare Wondereel and Shakespeare Russell No.1895 Fly Reel. The wonderreel is missing an adjustment cap. The fly reel seems to be all there. Box also contains several old wooden lures in rough shape. A metal spoon or two, and a few other vintage fishing items. Box has some of the original logo left. Vintage fishing lures, Antique tackle box, Heddon, Jitterbug,Creek Chub Bait,
Large tackle box full of vintage fishing lures. Box itself is 18”x13”x10” made of aluminum. Four fold out shelves per side with large storage on bottom. I count at least 20 lures. Many spinner blades, few stinkers and hooks, 3 fishing reels. Reels are vintage also, 2 of the 3 look like in need of repair. I’m not an antique lure collector but a quick search on the net returned this information. Lures are from the 1940’s to present time frame. Here are a few I researched: 1. Heddon. Tiny Crazy Crawler. Up for Auction is 65 Vintage/Antique fishing lures I have acquired throughout the years. Included in the lot are lures made by Heddon. Pfleuger, Wood Creek Chub, Rooster Tail, Doll Fly, and many others. They are in used condition but a majority of them can be used. Some lures would fetch a higher value if they were restored, however that is not something I know how to do.
