This display was placed on a check-out counter where lures and baits could be sold. I grew-up in Western Kansas next to a ghost-town and found this display in 1977 in an abandon auto repair garage(the building burnt to the ground two years later) This display has been boxed-up and moving around the country with me ever since. I forgot that I owned it until recently going through some of my un-opened boxes. I am not a collector so it seems best to let someone else add it to their collection and take care of it. You are bidding on a used old Al Foss fishing lure with box and paper. The lure and box match. It is a Shimmy No. 6. The lure is in very good shape. The paper insert is worn and separated and the box is worn with a bend. But you can still see the ink whereby it states No. 6. See photos. Use the close up feature to view all of the wear. I would rate the lure as a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 as mint for appearance.
