This a custom ported and anodized Abu Garcia wiffle spool. It will fit all 5000 sized reels that use ultra-cast(separate spool and axle) I take a OEM Abu Garcia wiffle spool and added extra porting to reduce the weight 15% over stock then have them re-anodized satin black. They look good and perform even better! For those that don't know. Reducing the rotating mass(the weight of the spool and fishing line together) increases casting performance. This is especially important for light presentations but also helps in all casting situations. I install these spools in ALL the Ambassadeurs that I personally fish. Thanks for looking. Up for bid is wooden presentation box which I believe is for the old-style Garcia Ambassadeur 5000 casting reel with the small handle. There are spaces for reel oil and parts(not included) There is a crack in the wood on the bottom but it is still intact and solid. The clasp is rusted and there is a Garcia medallion right above it. The parts tube is not there unfortunately. The case is in great condition and the reel has minimal boat rash. It has been cleaned so you can examine the photos carefully. It looks like someone scratched(or carved) Sp 2-73 above the numbers 2003 on the reel foot. There are a few minor scratches and smudges. Also with this is an extra spool and some parts in a plastic tube. Also included with this is an instruction booklet. The wooden box is dovetailed on the ends and has small closure and an emblem with the words KUNGI_HOVLEVERANTOR. There is a small sticker on the bottom with the words Made In Sweden. Up for your consideration is a early Abu Ambassadeur 5000 in very good condition. As you can see in the pictures it has some rash on top of the rims but is very clean along the sides. There is a bit of paint loss on the handle. The chrome is in good shape. No pitting or rust. It has a fat black spool that is consistent with its age. I also included a vintage lure, it says"Svangsta-spinn 4g 1/8 oz. The box is in rough shape but the lure looks unused. Somehow the plastic melted and I cannot take the lure out without hurting the box. The reel also comes with everything else you see,leather case, oil bottle(with oil) parts bottle, wrench and manual. ABU Garcia Ambassadeur 5000 C Baitcasting Reel Stainless Bearings-Sweden-Exclt!
This model ABU Garcia 5000c black color baitcasting reel was made in Sweden and is in remarkable condition. I doubt that it was used more than a couple of times. The serial number is a very low number and it reads 037200 which is a very low by today's standards. There are no condition issues and the reel does work well. The original partial box must have been stored in the garage along with the leather bag. The tool kit, and oil bottle because all of the stitching is bad on the leather case and the box shows slight signs of being in a damp environment. The original Owners Manual is in great condition! The reel must have been kept inside the home, and is estate fresh from here in NW Ohio. One of the nicest 5000c reels I have ever owned. Thanks for looking this auction is for a Pair of Abu Ambassader 5000 sers. reels in the color of red, ser numbers 32380@ 474346 Both models are the clicker models See photos Both of the reels are from the estate of a US Veteran. Ones cleaner than the other but both seem to work and look to need a good cleaning and need to be fished hard!
