It is approximately 2 1/2' long from mouth to end of hook, The body is approximately 1 1/2' long and the single hook only has 2 points. CHUGGER TYPE LURE. I have up for consideration a plastic chugger type bait. Maker of this bait is unknown but it is in nice shape looks to be used very little or not at all. It is a fire tiger pattern and has 2 treble hooks, The hooks are clean and sharp and has a rubber type skirt. It also comes with a spare rubber skirt they are dark green and have silver sparkles in them, They are a quick type skirt the just slide on the back of the bait. Heddon Chugger Spook Lure old vintage tough fishing Series 9540 Rare Color SR
Up for sale is this Chugger Spook fishing lure made by Heddon out of Dowagiac. Michigan. It was introduced in the late 1930's(this one was made much later because of the newer hardware) and is Series number 9540. The lure is 3.00" long, the lure has surface hardware, the eyes are painted, and the color of the lure is Silver Reflector(SR) The lure is marked on the belly. Overall, I would rate this lure in good shape. There are a few rubs(one that goes though the H in Heddon, and on that passes through the N and R on the opposite side) also there are a few bad spots on the inside foil that don't reflect consistently(as seen in photos) Please look at the photos, and let me know if you have any questions.
