You are bidding on a vintage rare Garcie 5 1/2' Model B520D Musky Taper fishing rod. Label reads B520-D 5 1/2' very heavy action. Musky taper 1 3/4 to 6 oz. lures 17-50 LB line. Never used. I did put a fishing reel on at one time but never used. Has a couple of scratches on the tip of the pistol grip from laying against the wall. The original canvas bag in great shape but labled as a Model B520C instead of D. Was purchased from a friend whose father passed away. He was a collector of vintage guns and some fishing rods. Up for auction is a very nice vintage Garcia Conolon 2 piece spinning rod. It is medi u m action. Model H-551as shown on the label. The ferr u les fit snugly as the should. And the cork handle is in nice condition. This only thing that keeps this rod from being near mint is the eyelet above the ferrule on the smaller half is slightly contorted. But it still lines up nicely. It's the eyelet that can be seen in photos 6, 7, and 8. Original tube show years of storage but the matching sock and rod do not. Original sock shows no fading. No tears, and the label is bright yellow, red, silver, and black. This is a Vintage Garcia Conolon 2 piece Fishing rod in very good condition made in the U.S.A! It is 66 1/2" long. The rod shaft is black with burgandy threading and gold and white detailing. The two pieces fit together nicely. The rod flexes nicely with no cracks or damage. The shaft lable wore off but it is a 2877-A Light medium Action 5 1/2' 1 3/4 to 3 1/2 oz lure rod. This is a vintage Garcia Condlon Companion 8 1/2' Dry Fly rod. Model number is 2686T and is in excellent condition and is still in original shipping tube. The outside tube shows normal wear and tear. However, it was stored inside tube and the rod shows little wear. It would be great for the fly fisherman or the the Fly Fish rod collector. We are neither. 2 vintage Garcia Conolon two piece rods. They are models 8212A. And 8226A. The 8226A is a casting rod, and the 8212A is a spinning rod. Both are marked 6 1/2' but the 8212A is about 6'3" so it must have been repaired. They are both used, but the 8226A is in much better condition. I would say this rod is in very good condition for its age. The 8212A is in fair condition. There is also a piece of the guide missing on the 8212A. You can see this in the last photo. Up for auctioin is this vintage Maroon Garcia Four-Star 6 1/2' spinning rod. This may be a Conolon rod but most of the decal is missing so its hard to say for sure. The rod is in very good condition and shows a little wear from use. The reel seat has a little wear. There are no cracks or chips in the cork handle. All guides are shiney with no bends and the wraps are intact with no fraying. The fiberglass does have a few light scuffs from handling. All that can be read of the decal is part of Garcia, 4 stars and the first two letters in FOUR. The rod measures just over 6 1/2' when put together. Check out the pictures.Thanks!
