This lot includes two vintage wood Heddon Crazy Crawler fishing lures. I think the one is called a Bullfrog. I am doing my best to list these lures correctly. But I don't know much about these. This is a very unique lot of three wooden lures that came from my father's enormous collection. He has some rare ones. But I don't know what is good and what isn't. These ones were labeled in a baggy. Two of these are marked Heddon Crazy Crawler and these two have a shiny green pattern. The one in the top of picture 1 has a red scale pattern and is also marked Heddon only. I thought this was odd since the others are marked Heddon Crazy Crawler. This unique one that is marked Heddon only, also has gold eyes with a black pupil which is different from the other two. All three lures measure. 2 1/2 inches long. AWESOME condition on this Heddon crazy Crawler from the 2100 series. Crazy crawler lures were originally made by Donaly& Co. in 1939 but Heddon bought the patent in 1940. It is 2 3/4 inches long. This is the oldest of the flocked mouse models with the screwed on leather ears! Has BOTH ears and the tail in GREAT condition! You can see in the detailed pics the dating hardware on this. The wing has the patent number 1677176 stamped into it as seen in the picture. This has the RED dot on the chin with the"Heddon Crazy-Crawler" as well dating this to the earliest end of the manufacture run of 1940-1952 for this particular model. Hello! This auction is for. 1) Vintage Heddon Crazy-Crawler. Wood, standard size(2.75" yellow with red head, I believe the model is 2100YRH, but I could be incorrect. 1) Vintage Heddon Chugger Spook. Wood, 3" black and white shore minnow, I believe the model is 9540-XBW, but I could be incorrect. 1) Vintage Heddon Vest-Pocket Catalog. 2" x 4" These lures are used. But in great condition in my opinion. please see condition in pics. I cannot find any major thing wrong with them. The catalogue folds out and reveals a lot of the awesome old lures, as well as a couple of ads for poles. It's in good condition as well, the main thing about the catalog is that there is an unnatural fold(as though it was folded the wrong way if you know what I mean, like when you fold a map incorrectly) These came out of an oooooold tackle ... morebox. I believe the design on the catalog is from the 40's(from looking online) And the Crazy-Crawler I*think* is probably from the late 40's early 50's.
