Vintage Fenwick Fiberglass Fly Rod 7 1/2' FF756 Exellent Condition
7 1/2 foot. Two piece, Fenwick Fiberglass Fly Rod from the 1970's. Number FF756. This rod is rated for a 6 weight line, and sometimes I used it with one, especially in the wind. Usually I used one size lighter than the line stated on the Fenwick rods. It does really well withe a WF 5 or for more delicate fishing on small steams a DT 5 works well. I used this rod on medium size streams in Montana and Wyoming and liked it on breezy days. It is a little stiffer than some other fiberglass rods and can handle bigger flies and begger fish. As you can see from the photos it is in excellent condition, with no defects in the blank, wraps or cork grip. Minor fishing wear. The serial number is N285603. Actually I am not sure what model rod this is. It measures 6ft. Except for the missing logo it is in very good condition with no repairs. The eye raps are very good with no cracks. The finish on the rod is glossy. This will ship in 2" PVC.

Original Fenwick fishing rod case (tube) for Model FS85 - 54 Inches Long
This Fenwick rod case looks to be in nice condition. Even the hinged cap on one end is intact and still functions. On one end it says MODEL FS85: this is what is printed on the end cap label. No rod, just the case as shown. From outside tip to outside tip it measures 54 inches long( I believe this is for a two piece rod that measures 8 feet and 6 inches long when assembled) It only shows a few light scrapes on the finish, but very nice for the vintage as you can see. Fenwick Fenglass Flippin Flipping Rod
FENWICK FENGLASS FLIPPIN ROD. 7 1/2 ft length, retracts to 6 ft length. I am the original owner. I purchased this rod new in the mid-1980's and used it for a few years. It has been in storage for the past 20 years. I replaced the first and third line guides down from the tip(see photos) There is a small scuff below the second line guide down from the tip. There is a small scratch at the top of the butt section(see photo) The cork on the handle has become darkened due to use, however, the cork is complete and solid. Rod is in good condition and has a nice appearance. The original guide wrappings on the rod show no cracking of the clear finish over the wrappings. The two replaced line guides show some cracking of the clear finish over the thread wrappings. Fenwick was the first manufacturer of the flippin rod. Auction is for a Vintage Fenwick Model 104 1-piece 4'6" Spinning Rod Fishing Rod. A nice old rod that shows some signs of use but is in nice used condition. The rod is a 4'6" Model 104 1 1/2 oz. rod. Rod was designed for 1-4# line and 1/16 to 1/4 oz. lures. The serial# is K 103412. There are 2 eyes that have been re-wrapped as can be seen in the pictures. Neither eye was removed from the rod and the rod itself has never been broken or altered in length.these 2 eyes were simply re-wrapped or repaired. Fenwick FF70-4 Fiberglass Fly Rod: Translucent 1964-1965
Fenwick FF70-4 Fiberglass Fly Rod Translucent E-series. Four-piece, seven-foot model from 1964-1965 that flexes easily and deeply for tremendous fish-on feel. Fenwick stickered this one as a six weight, and I'd say that's on the high end of the range. Think five weight and maybe four. For reference, this Fenwick's butt diameter is about the same as that of a Steffen seven-foot 2-3 weight. Finish is unscathed. Save for the Feralite ferrule junctions that show minor scuffing. Rod was designed for AFTMA Fly Line No.6 and 3-6# line for the spinning rod using 1/8 to 3/8 oz. lures. Each rod section measures approx. 22 1/2" long. The rod is nice but is missing the black butt cap. The label showing serial# I 17223 is coming off at the edges and a couple of the wire eyes are a little misshaped. Up for auction a rather Nice CIRCA 1965 FENWICK#FF85 8-1/2 FT. 2/1 TUBULAR FIBERGLASS FLY ROD WITH THE ORIGINAL LABELED BAG& CORRECTLY LABELED ALUMINUM TUBE. This example was built by the Fenwick Co. of Long Beach, Calif. sometime around 1965. It's marked with Serial#E1257(which would indicate a 1964-1965 model) but is also marked with the 1965 Patent number for the"Feralite" ferrules, so I assume it was produced later in 1965 or possibly even 1966. Rodshaft carries the"Fenwick Feralite" eagle decal and is also stamped"FF85- 8-1/2' 3-3/4 oz. and"A.F.T.M.A. Fly Line NO.7" above that. The"FERALITE" logo decal and"U.S. PAT. 3,186,122" are on the shaft up by the butt ferrule. Built with"brown" tubular fiberglass and comes equipped with chromed stripper, 8) snake guides, ... morechromed tip top, fiberglass"Feralite ferrules, hook keeper, copper anodized winding check, solid cork Half-Wells grip, gold anodized scre-locking reel seat with Fenwick Eagle logo, plastic buttcap and wound in brown thread with black& white trim. The serial number is B 19652 indicating a 1961-62 era rod. The rod remains in EXCELLENT SHAPE in the original Fenwick cardboard rod tube. I have no history on the rod-this was an estate sale find from the attic of an OLD HOUSE and nobody knew anything about this fishing rod. The rod is marked FENWICK Feralite B 19652 FF80 3 1/2 oz The condition is fantastic- the cork handle looks almost unused-it appears to have been handled some-I took a couple close up photos for you to see. All the line guides appear to be in fantastic condition as are the line guide wraps. This is a vintage fenwick HMG graphite rod and Pinnacle Deadbolt Guide reel.The handle is wrapped with proguide wrap.It is a two piece rod with 7 eyes.Im not going to describe this rod any better than others on ebay.If you know what this rod is you will appreciate the price.I will combine shipping as I have several rod and reel combinations for sale now.Thanks for bidding and If you need more pictures Ill be happy to oblige.
