The cloth case is ... moregone. The rod is in exceptional shape. The eyes have no damage and the wrapping is in great shape. The cork handle has never had a hook in it and is damage free. The feral attaches well and holds nicely. The action is live. The line rating tag is still on the rod but I couldn't upload enough pictures to show everything. My guess is made in very late 50's or early 60's. Defininely before mid 1963 as that was the year the 5 digit zip code came out and Fenwick's address doesn't have that.only Long Beach 4, California. Considering that, this rod is at least 50 years old but looks like it was manufactured last week except the line rating tag is slightly loose and needs regluing on the top edge. That's not bad for a 50 year old rod. There is a dent or two in the aluminum case as can be seen in picture 11. The serviceability is in no way impaired. Feralite had not yet been patented when this rod was made as it says patent pending behind the word Feralite. Serial number is C 16723. Exceptional piece but I am downsizing and can't tramp the streams as I once did so here's a nice opportunity to own agreat rod. Low start. No reserve, and 14 day return privilege so bid with confidence and the assurance that I want you to be 100% pleased with your purchase. Classic Unused Fenwick FF75 7 1/2', 3 1/4 oz.Fly Rod With Original Case & Sleeve
I was given this fly rod several years ago and was going to use it when a friend told me it was not neccessarily the state of the art. But that it was a Classic fly rod and appreciated by true flyfishermen affectionatos. I therefore, put it up and even though I enjoy fly fishing immensely, I am still using my original LLBeam rod with a nondisc brake Battenkill reel and have caught fish from Wyo to the Battenkill River. A classic like this belongs to someone who enjoys fly fishing, but more so, appreciates its history. I do not think this reel has ever been attached to the rod. If you want a nice rod for your use or collection, I am told that it would be a fine addition to someones collection. Thanx for looking. VINTAGE Fenwick PSU1265 10 1/2' SURF ROD 15-30lb
Rod purchased new in the mid-1970's and is good used condition. The Fenwick PSU1265 is a 10 1/2 ft. Surf Rod rated at 15-30 lb. test line. But when used with a thinner, stronger line, the limit can be much higher. 3-6 oz weights/lures. One very minor flaw is a piece of tape holding the center on one of the guides where a drop of solder should be(please see second photo) If you know how to use a soldering iron, you can fix it yourself. I haven't used it in more than 25 years, so I've had no need to fix it. The third piece shown in the photo(the handle of a PS100) is not included.

This is one of the beautiful old rods made by Jim Green before he went to Fenwick. Jim Green was a world fly casting champion and was also credited with developing the first Fenwick Feralite Ferrule. This rod has been professionally restored to a condition close to its original condition. The only part of the rod that could not be restored to a like new finish was the wooden handle which had stains that occurred when the rod was originally fished. Please look carefully at the rod and the quality of the work on the reel seat. Line guides and wrappings. Also look at the flecked color of the rod itself. Vintage Fenwick FS91C rod with original sock and tube. 9' 9 7/8 oz 5/8 to 21/2 oz lures. Early fenwick serial# E5205. Reel seat bright as it gets. Wraps are nice and slightly translucent. Both sections are equal length and bright glossy with minimal handling marks. Guides are good with tiptop showing slight discoloration. Plaid sock is clean with label. Tube is original and in good shape but the cap is not original. This rod was not used much. If at all. Collect it or fish it retro style.

fenwick ff756 3 1/4 oz. fiberglass fly rod very good condition
This is a very nice fenwick 7 1/2 foot fiberglass fly rod. Weight is 3 1/4 oz. made for 6 weight line. The reel seat is good and tight. All eyelids are real nice. Never been repaired. The rod has the original sock. It also has the original case. But the top of the case is missing. I will tape a triangle of cardboard over it to keep rod safe in shipping. This will make a nice rod to use for fishing. Shipping is estimated at 20.00. Rods can be expensive and tough to ship. As I have learned. If I can get it to you for much cheaper, I will issue some money back less a small amount for making box, etc. The last rod I shipped was more than 20.00 so this could be a bit of a shot. It has nicks and scratches, but is in excellent mechanical condition. Vtg Fenwick 320 Fly Rod 7 1/2' 3 3/4th oz 1955 - 1962 Aluminum Case Fishing Pole
This is an auction for a rare vintage Fenwick 320 7 1/2' 3 3/4th oz fly fishing rod. This rod was produced between 1955 and 1962. Condition is excellent the only flaw I could find being a small flea size piece of cork missing at the bottom edge of the rod grip. The rest of the rod looks and feels like new. The protective cloth cover shows a little wear on the outside. The aluminum rod tube shows the most wear with scuffs. Scratches, dings, and wear consistent with a protective rod case which has taken the brunt of any abuse over the years. Somebody's going to own a great vintage rod because this is being offered with no reserve. U.S. buyers only please. The buyer must add $12.99 for shipping. Good luck!

The lettering is badly worn, but as near as I can figure it reads: Fenwick PL 866 190cm 1/4- 5/8 lure 6- 12 lb. line 51/2. Still has original decal on cork handle. I do not have the cloth bag for it.

This older Fenwick fishing rod is a classic. The printing on the rod is a follows: PLS 71. 7 FOOT, 5 7/8OZ 1/2 TO 5/8 OZ. LURES 6- 12lb. line. The rod is in excellent condition with a great finish, nice cork handles, a good metal reel seat and all windings secure. The metal guides look good and the tip guide looks to be plastic and may have been replaced.
