Lot of 5 Bass Pro Shops Hobbs Creek fly fishing rod and reel cases. Approximate dimensions are 28.5" long with a 2.5" diameter. These are all from a lot of returned merchandise from Bass Pro Shops. Most show very little wear and I tested the zippers and all work smoothly. A couple of them are a little bit dirty. I believe that these were part of a package sold with a rod and when the rod broke. The customer returned the rod and the case. Just my best guess. These items are sold AS IS, please look carefully at pictures and ask questions if necessary. These are very nice embroidered cases.

Most suitable for 4 to 6 weight lines/rods but has enough capacity to handle a WF7 line plus 50 yards of 20lb backing. Can be fished with either left or right handed retrieve by simply changing the position of the click pawls. Spool overrun and minimal"drag" can be applied by turning an external trim knob mounted on the edge of the reel frame which changes the pressure applied to a dual set of springs and in turn varies the pressure of the click pawl against the gear teeth on the spool. Reel comes complete with a neoprene"on-the-rod" reel case(case not shown- see other similar listings) Reel has had a line put on it but has never been fished. Next is a Shakespeare(3) peice 9ft with a extra tip. The main shaft is missing the metal ferral. A while back I had the eyelit for the Premier I will continue to look for it. Johnson Pack Fly Rod & Reel combo, 3-4 wt line, 6' 6" JF 666, JF 1000
This is a Johnson brand. Pack-in type, Fly rod and reel. This combination came from an estate sale here in western Oregon. This rod/reel is in very good condition. The rod breaks down into six short fifteen and one half inch(15 1/2) sections. Put together the rod is 6' 6" long. The reel is loaded with yellow fly line with a leader attached. It appears to be the original fly line. The reel operates freely with no sticking or dragging. This rod is probly about 20 yr. old. This rod& reel is in very good condition. It appears it was probly used once then left in the closet. There are no visable scratches or blemishes on the rod or reel. The foam handle is clean with no chips. Nicks, or cuts. This rod& reel combo has been stored in a closet in a bedroom for pretty much all its life. I did use a soft paint brush to brush off the"closet ... moredust" This rod& reel would be great to carry on pack in trips in the high country or stuck in your day pack on a long hike. You are bidding on these 2 estate found. Fly fishing rod& reel combo kits. I don't know the exact age, but they are vintage. I purchased all of the fellows fishing rods, but I don't fly fish at all. The red colored reel is a Martin# 81 Automatic Mohawk reel, that is mounted on a Martin"Tuffy" rod.The rod is around 9' long, and the recoil on the reel does work very well. The trigger on the reel needs cleaned up, it is kinda rusty looking, but works well and looks as though it will clean up. The green reel is a"Mohawk-Horrocks-Ibbotson" Co, Utica-NY#1106. It works very well, but there is no griese in the gears, and does need to be griesed. The rod is is just marked"3500 F G 7' All eyelets are in place and seems to be solid. Thanks for looking.

Cast of a newly developed magnesium alloy the reel is extremely light weighing a mere 3.1 ounches- more than 30% lighter than comparible sized Hardy reels using traditional cast aluminum alloys. Cosmetically I would rate this reel as just fair to good- it has obviously been well used. Unfortunately, the finish Hardy used plagued this series of reels during its entire production. Reel can be fished with right or left hand retrieve by simply inverting the single click pawl and reversing the single screw, double prong chromium line guard. Minimal"drag" may be applied via a plastic knob on the reverse which works on a spring that regulates the pressure on the single click pawl. Terrific clicking sound. Fly Fishing Reel Lot Berkley 510 Pemco No.85 Martin CC 65 Trout Steelhead Salmon
Three reels in good shape. The Berkley and Martin work great but I dont know how to use the Pemco so I am going to say it might work. It seems to have a spring in it when I turn the plastic side. There is some line on the Pemco but I couldnt tell you the weight of it or the length. I bought the Berkley and Martin off of ebay thinking I would take up fly fishing but I do not have the patience or time to learn how. The Pemco my father in law gave me because he doesnt fly fish either. These reels are in used condition with some scuffs and wear but it doesnt effect the way they reel in any way. Cast of a newly developed magnesium alloy the reel is extremely light weighing a mere 3.1 ounches- more than 30% lighter than comparible sized Hardy reels using traditional cast aluminum ... morealloys. Most suitable for 5-7 weight rods. Reel is in good mechanical condition and has all its original parts with no loose rivets or screws. Cosmetically I would rate this reel as just fair to good- it has obviously been well used. Unfortunately, the finish Hardy used plagued this series of reels during its entire production. Reel can be fished with right or left hand retrieve by simply inverting the single click pawl and reversing the single screw, double prong chromium line guard. Minimal"drag" may be applied via a plastic knob on the reverse which works on a spring that regulates the pressure on the single click pawl. Terrific clicking sound. I am selling my Orvis Superfine Touch rod and Orvis CFO 1 reel. The rod has been used no more than three times and is in like new condition. It is the full flex and comes with the Orvis tube and sock as seen in the picture. The sock has a tag for your name and information and it is not written on. All stickers are intact on the rod case and it is in great condition. The reel is also in like new condition with no nicks or scratches of any kind.
